Alex's POV

Within two agonizing months I visit Jess everyday I could in the hospital. Although sometimes he wasn’t there because of surgery. I have become friends with Dylan Richards, which I never though would happen. I have a lot more in common with him then I thought. I haven’t seriously beat up anyone yet. And Derrick and Caleb are getting closer.

I was laying down, pretending to be sleeping, on a chair in the room Jesse was staying in. Then someone walked into the room. I didn’t open my eyes since I figured it was just one of the nurses giving him medicine or changing his IV.

“Alex wake up!” I heard a familiar voice shout at me. I opened my eyes to see Josh and Jackie, Jess’s grandma, in the room with a doctor and a couple of nurses. I guess names started with ‘J’ was popular in there family.

“What‘s going on?” I asked while sitting up. God, sleeping in a chair really did a total to your body, I was soar everywhere.

“Jess gets to go home today” Jackie said while smiling.

I stood up fast in excitement, hurting my soar body badly, “ow, dammit” I said sitting back down.

“Maybe you shouldn’t spend all your days sleeping in a chair…” Josh said sarcastically. I ignored him and looked over at Jesse, who was woken up.

“Jesse Anderson you are going to go home now” The doctor said unhooking the IV in his arm.

“really!?” he said excitedly, “I can finally go back to school and sleep in my own bed!” he looked over at me and blushed.

I love how I never have to say anything anymore, he just blushes when he sees me. So yes I know Jesse Bradley Anderson does have a crush on me but I am still to afraid to ask him out…although it’s odd I’m not afraid to kiss him.

Once the doctor unhook his IV he walked over to me and hugged me with his one good arm. He kept hugging me for a good three minutes until Josh spoke up after the doctor and nurses left.

“Stop giving your boyfriend all the hugs and give some to me”

“He’s not my boyfriend”, he laughed and rolled his eyes then walked over to Josh and Jackie and gave them both brief hugs. Then he walked back over at me.

I hate having to see him in a sling with a cast around his hand. Although he has been through so much, that I caused. He still had a smile on his face and wanted to be around me. I felt like I didn’t deserve someone as great as Jess.

I was sitting on the desk in Jesse’s small room. He was laying down on his bed happy to be in it again. His eyes were closed and he was smiling. I silently watched him as he laid peacefully on his bed. My heart raced and my stomach got caught in my throat when I thought about going over to him and…kissing him. Not like a did before, that was just a little peck.

I walked over to the bed and sat down next to him. He kept his eyes closed knowing it was just me. I bent down so my face was inches away from his and I pressed my mouth against him. I was shocked when I felt his one good arm slowly wrap around me. I cupped his face between my hands and continued to kiss him.

I parted my lips, but when he didn’t mimic I licked his lips begging for an entrance. He slowly opened his mouth but I saw it as an advantage and made my way past. My tongue explored the moist cavern of his mouth.

I got above him and put my legs on either side of him. I pressed against him, careful I didn’t hurt his arm. He let out a faint moan before he pulled away and blushed in embarrassment. I stared into his amazing blue eyes, my heart racing faster then it has in a long time.
