Chapter 9: The weigh In

Chapter 9

It was Monday, nobody likes Mondays. I was hoping to see Jason last night, but he had pack stuff to do, so it wasn't possible. I was dressed in dark blue skinny jeans, off the shoulders purple shirt and black vans. I didn't bother with any make up and I put my long hair in a ponytail. I grabbed my bag and jacket, while heading downstairs.

“Good morning, mom.” I said. I grabbed a water from the fridge and sat at the island.

“Good morning. Want some breakfast?” My mom asked handing me a smoothie. I gladly took it and drank it.

“This is probably one of the best smoothies.” Mom gave me a weird smile. Okay? That's not weird. She went and grabbed our scale and notepad.

“Weigh in time.” I groaned since I had just drank something as well as had shoes on. If I weigh more than I did last time, mom's not going to be happy with me. I stepped on the scale,  it read 101.5. My eyes widen, this can't be right, there's no way. “You've been cheating on your diet, haven't you? How can you gain 4 and a half pounds in 2 days!” My mom was livid. I started shaking.

“I don't know! I swear I haven't cheated on my diet! I've been good!” I cried. There's only been a few times I have gone over the weight limit my mom had set for me and it was always brutal what my mom did to get me back down. But I have never gained 4 almost 5 pounds in 2 days.

“You don't get to eat until you've lost that weight, you good for nothing fat cow!” My mom yelled at me. I started to cry, mom took my smoothie and threw it away. “Get out of my sight! Hope get your ass down here!” I walked out the door, sniffling, and got into the car. Not long later, Hope came out of the house with her lunch in hand and a smoothie. I wiped my face, trying to get rid of the evidence that I had been crying.

“Hey.” Hope smiled at me. I returned the greeting and we were off to school. Hope and I don't like to talk about our punishments so we don't talk about what had happened. We got to school and we went our separate ways. At least I have gym 1st period so I can try to lose some of this weight I put on. Weirdly, I haven't seen Callum at all, which was kind of sad. He was becoming one of my really good friends. Lunch time came around and I didn't even want to be in the cafeteria since I'm not allowed to eat. I went to go find a vending machine to get some water.

“Hey, there you are.” I turned around and saw Callum.

“Where have you been? I haven't seen you all day.” I grabbed my water from the vending machine and walked over to him, taking a drink. I needed that.  

“Oh, you know, around.” He winked at me, I rolled my eyes. “Anyway, if you wanted to come with me outside, that'd be awesome.” I gave him a weird look, but I went with him. Once outside, he led me to a really nice looking car. I don't know cars so i wouldn't be able to tell you what kind it was. I looked in the car window and saw Jason, my face lit up immediately.

“Hi princess.” Jason said, waving at me. I got into the car and hugged him.

“What are you doing here!?” I said excitingly.

“I came to see you. I felt bad that I couldn't come over last night.”

“No, don't worry about it! You have other business to do and I understand that.” Jason kissed me and I kissed him back. We made out for a while until there was a knock on the window, we pulled apart.

“Sorry to interrupt, but Callie, we got to go, like now.” It was Callum. I nodded and gave Jason a quick kiss, getting out of the car, and headed back inside. “The bell was about to ring.” We went through the rest of the school day and I was dreading going home to face my mother.  Hope and I pulled up to the driveway and she looked at me.

“I'll do my best to try to get you something.” I shook my head.

“Don't risk getting in trouble for me. As long as I have water, I should be fine.” Hope gave me a sad smile and nodded. We got inside the house and I went straight upstairs.

“Get down here Callie.” I stopped mid-way up. I turned on my heel and went back down. “Here are some vitamins so that you get your nutrients for the day. As well as a workout plan I want you to do.” I took the pills and grabbed the book from my mom. I grabbed a water and looked over the workout plans. I headed up back to my room to get ready for my 5 mile run. I quickly got dressed and headed downstairs to go outside. I started running, I went towards the trail where I first met Jason,  in hopes I'll see him there. It's been about a half hour, I checked my watch and saw that I've ran about 3.5 miles so far. I turned around to start heading back to house. I was slightly sad I didn't see Jason at all my whole run. By the time I made it back to my house, I found that I ended up running about 6 miles. I saw an unfamiliar car in the driveway.

“Hey stranger.” I saw Callum get out of the car.

“Whose car is that?” I questioned him.

“It's my dads. My car is in the shop. Anyway, are you free right now?”

“Mmm, let me check with my mom real fast.” I ran inside. “Hey mom, is it ok if i hangout with Callum a little bit? I promise I'm not going to eat.”

“Fine, only for an hour and a half though.” I thanked her and went back outside.

“Yes, I am free.” Callum smiled and opened the car door for me, and to my surprise Jason was in the back seat. I smiled so big and got in the back.

“I'll take us back to the house and then you can do your own thing without me.” We all laughed. I couldn't get enough of my mate, he just made me so happy. We got back to the house and Jason pulled me out of the car, dragging me into the house and into his house. We immediately started making out. I really wanted him to mark me, but I knew he wouldn't be able to since we are still in hiding. I broke the kiss and looked at him.

“When can you mark me? Because I really want you right now.” Jason smiled at me.

“Maybe after the ceremony when your sister knows about us. In the meantime we can skip that part and mate. If you wanted to, of course.” I looked at him, thinking about it. Was I ready to have sex? I mean, we hardly know each other, he knows more about me than I do him. He started kissing my neck and I immediately started moaning. Fuck it.

“Ok.” That's all it took for him to attack me. Right after we finished the mating process we had a knock on the door.

“Callie, we need to get going if we are going to get back in time.” I quickly threw on my clothes and kissed Jason.

“I'll see you later.” I walked out the door and Callum gave me a knowing smile. “Oh shush.” He dropped me off at home, on time. I went up to my room, I didn't want to smell the dinner that they were going to be eating. I looked at my workout plan and finished it. It consisted of 45 crunches and 40 pushes. I went to the bathroom and ended up throwing up. I took a shower and went to bed early.
