"Look, I'm telling you, stop faffing about." James demanded whoever was on the other side of the phone. "How do I know?" He asked after a small pause. "I can hear things breaking Whitman." Rose rolled her eyes as she stuffed her hands in her pockets.
Walking down the streets of New York for the first time was considered a break for the couple. Now that the two were valuable assets of MI6 this was a well deserved one.
"Don't pressure him..." Rose scolds softly looking up at James with a smirk. "He's experiencing this for the first time..."
"What? A first date." James states. "I honestly thought he'd always had a girlfriend."
"No, you just teased him about it." Rose corrects shaking her head as James sighed. "And it's boyfriend remember."
"Whitman, where's Carter?" James asked rubbing his temple. "He's in the building right? - Exactly. Go. Ask. Him." James demands rolling his eyes. "I'm the one in a different time zone! I'm also the one who knows that Carter has a wife! Go ask him." James demands again as Rose let out a chuckle at James' subtle fury.
"Just tell him if anything we'll call him back-" Rose suggested before the sound of crashing caught the twos attention with Rose instantly stepping back. The sound seeming much more than someone falling down the stairs. It seemed more like someone crashed through the roof.
"Right, I'll call you back..." James says to Whitman who seemed to argue but James ended the call quickly before looking at the building in front of them wide eyed. "I've seen this symbol before..." James admitted looking at the circular window with odd lines running through it.
"What? Does this place have some sort of wizard, like Harry Potter?" Rose asked sarcastically.
"Sort of." James admits before running to the door and opened it slowly. Rose followed slowly behind him nervously but with some sort of excitement. Being a Harry Potter fan was the reason why.
"James... I don't know about this..." Rose hissed, changing her mind about the scenario instantly before James peaked his head around the door.
"Oh my god..." James almost said aloud his tone laced in shock.
"What?" Rose asked before James swung the door open so she could see and there were three men standing there staring straight back at the door. One was wearing some pretty odd clothing considering this era's modern feel. It reminding Rose or the Medieval like time's but his overall look made her think of ninjas for no apparent reason. He was the shortest and held a firm look as if he was ready to attack. The second was taller with black and grey tinted hair. He wore a red cloak of some kind which seemed to move on its own but Rose didn't question or want to question it for that matter. But the man between them was by far recognisable.
"Doctor Banner..." Rose states looking at the afraid doctor in shock. Bruce's movements were shaky as he walked quickly towards Rose with tears in his eyes. "Are you okay?" She asked concerned before he wrapped his arms around her tightly shocking Rose but reacted doing the same.
