"Still no word from Vision?" Secretary Ross asked as Rhodey leaned against one of the tables in the room. Ross and several others were hard at work on their laptops but not in reality. It was a holographic call.

"Satellites lost him somewhere over Edinburgh..." Rhodey informs looking down at the clean surface of the desk.

"On a stolen Quinjet with four of the world's most wanted criminals." Ross adds looking down at the table he sat at. Rhodey looked towards Ross in almost disgust at the language he used:

"You know, they're only criminals because you chose to call them that, right, Sir?" Rhodey reminds walking slowly towards the holographic Ross who stood up and walked towards Rhodey.

"My god Rhodes, your talent for horseshit rivals my own." He says.

"If it weren't for those accords, Vision would be right here."

"I remember your signature on those papers, Colonel." Ross reminds taking a step forward.

"That's right." Rhodey sadly states. "And I'm pretty sure I paid for that." Rhodey adds crossing his arms over his chest referring to his paralysis as he looked up at the hologram of Ross. Rhodey had been caught in the crossfire when Vision tried to stop Sam from catching up to Steve and Bucky who were escaping the battle both sides faced in Germany.

"You have second thoughts?"

"Not anymore." Rhodey assures before the door opened to reveal Natasha, Steve, Rachel, Sam, Wanda and Vision walking towards Rhodey and Ross. Steve helped Rachel along when she needed it as she walked alongside him and Natasha whilst Sam and Wanda held Vision who struggled along.

"Mr Secretary." Steve greets.

"You've got some nerve." Ross assures looking up at Steve as he stepped forward. "I'll give you that."

"You could use some of that right now." Natasha assures in return looking at Ross confidently as always.

"And where've you been Falsworth?" Ross asked twisting the subject to Rachel. "Fighting gladiators in Rome?" Rachel couldn't retort, she didn't even send him a fake smirk. She just glared straight at him. "No comeback? Nothing? God you've changed."

"That we can agree on..." Rachel croaked, her voice lower and more threatening than the last time they spoke. "God how I haven't missed you."

"As much as I haven't missed you and your pathetic attitude as well, the world could've used it. We needed you." Ross states, his tone seemingly more aggressive, clearly stating to Rachel the hassle the world had been through since her disappearance.

"Well, you had one less person to look for." Rachel states, her tone laced with tire, it rougher and coarse, though she fought back her true anger.

"Who says we weren't searching for you?" Ross questioned.

"Well, the obvious factor, you'd arrest me. But that wouldn't happen. If continue to work against you, you'd not bother looking for me because you know you'd rather be your hypocritical self and look for a super soldier..." Rachel explained, her tone filling with more anger by every word that left her mouth. "The list of things goes on and to explain where I've been I think Thor lies as an excusable reason." Ross stared at Rachel in shock, his eyes showing it as he looked up at the speedster.
