Steve at the top

Steve's POV

I got home and I heard no music nothing. So I went up stairs to check on bella. I opened her room and there was a note
Dear family,
I left to go to California, it's to hard for me here, I know you guys think I am real happy but deep down I fell like I don't belong. I want to go back to California and see my old gang and Benny, I also really miss the ocean and my "older brother" Elijah. I won't be gone long but I need time. Tell Timothy I love him and that he can't not lock him self in his room for 5 months again. Tell Dallas that I'm sorry that I didn't love him but deep down I still care for him. Tell the gang that I will miss them. And you Steve I love you so much, remember that. I won't be gone for ever. I will call you when I get To California. I love you bye

She left again. This cannot be happened. A piece of my heart just broke. I ran down stairs with the note and ran out of the house to the Curtis house.

I Swung the door open, everyone was there except dally.
"PONYBOY MICHAEL CURTIS AND JOHNATHAN ANDREW CADE GET TOUR ASSES RIGHT HERE!" They walked slowly to me and looked down with guilt
"Steve What is wrong now" Darry said
"BELLA SHE IS GONE!" I yelled
"AND THESE BOYS KNOW WHY SHE LEFT NOW TELL ME!"
"Steve she said that she wanted to go home in California and see her other gang and Benny." Ponyboy said, I punched the wall
"I can't lose my babygirl! I JUST GOT HER BACK!" I cried
"Steve come and sit down let's talk to Dally about this" darry said
"I need her I NEED HER, I need my princess. That makes me happy everyday, the babygirl that I got to hold first when she was born. I need her. Her smile would make the room shine, I really need her, she is all I got left of mom." I said breaking down

"Steve it's okay" soda said
"NO ITS NOT! I NEED MY ANGEL"
"Steve calm down first" two said
"Let me call Dallas" Darry said

Darry's POV

Steve has never acted like this ever, Bella means everything to him.
I dialed bucks number and he picked up.
"Buck we have a big situation and we need Dallas here now" I said rea strictly
"Will Do Darrel."
I hung up and told Steve that he is on his way

Steve's POV

I was crying and crying like a little baby. Soda would pat my back and pony would say it was okay.
"S-She gave me this." I showed them the letter and soda read it.
"She's in California Steve we can go get her."
"That's the last thing she wants" Johnny said
"CADE SHUT YOUR TRAP!" I yelled
"I'm just saying if I was her I would want to be alone for a while." Johnny said
"Let's talk to Dally" when soda said dally, dally came in and looked horrible
"Dallas what happened to you!" Darry said opening the door
"Bella broke my heart. She grabbed it and threw it on the ground and stepped on it. Im silting inside." Dally just said the most depressing thing ever.
"Dallas what happened to you." Johnny said
"I think she told you already." Dally said stumbling into the living room
"Dally are you okay" two bit said
" do I look okay?"he said
"No"two said back
"Dally tell us what happened when we left." I said
"I was sitting with Bella and she started yelling at her phone. She threw it on the ground and ran outside and cried. I looked at her phone at it was a picture of her gang in Cali. And it said the He shouldn't have changed. Oh and did I say that this was Benny's story on Snapchat. I went to check on her. I said that it would be okay but she yelled in my face that she doesn't love me and that she never did she loved Benny. I left after that and I went to bucks got real drunk too I passed out after that. Man I fell real hard for her." Dallas just said all of that
"Dally well she left." I said
"Why?"
"She said she missed it back home in California, she is there right now." Ponyboy said
"Oh no what is TOMMY GOING TO SAY OH NO NO NO TOMMY IS GOING TO BE SO SAD." I said, I ran to pick up tommy from camp.

I got there and tommy was so happy with his friends
"Hi Stevie" tommy said
"Hi tommy we have to go home now."
"Why is something wrong"
"Yes and we have to go" I grabbed him and ran to the Curtis house.

We got to the Curtis house and tommy said
"Steve What is wrong I'm getting scared."
We entered the house and everyone was there
"Listen when you hear this you can not lock yourself in your room" I said
"Okay"
"Steve tell him already" soda said I squatted down to his size and said
"Tommy Bella's gone" a tear dropped from my eye
"Where?" He said
"She left and went to California" I said
Tommy's eyes started to water really fast
"Tommy you okay?" I said he started to cry and he shook his head saying no.
"I-I want b-Bella back" he started to cry so much
"I know tommy I know I want her back too." I said sobbing, I hugged him tightly and said
"It's okay tommy"
"She can't go again not again" he said crying
I had him in my arms like a baby, he hugged me and cried in my chest.
Everyone was really sad and well Dally was a total wreck, we just stayed at the Curtis house crying or just being silent waiting for.
