Chapter 46

Nicolette on the top! (Steve's girlfriend)

Steve POV

"RANDLE!" The doctor shouted. I had tommy on my arms so I got up and tried not waking him up.
"Doc any new is she going to be okay?" I asked
"Mr. Randle right now Bella is awake but in critical condition, she can not speak but she will soon. She can move and everything but her breathing is a little off. You can see her if you want. She is in room 150.
"Thank you Doc." I went to my seat to bring dally, pony, Johnny, and Nicole with me.

"Hey dal she's awake" I said shaking him, I did the same to pony and Johnny. They shot up when I said Bella's name.
"Is she okay Steve tell me she is okay." Dally said freaking out.
"She Fine She is just having trouble breathing." The all sighed and looked down
"Nicole are you coming" I said shaking her
"Mm, oh yeah sure anyway I have to work." She stretched
"Are you going to be the nurse that takes care of Bella?" I asked
"Sure I can probably switch with one of the nurses." A smile appeared on my face.
We walked to her room. I felt Nicole hold my hand. I smiled at her.

I took a deep breath before opening the door.
"Don't cry Steve don't cry." I mumbled to my self
"Steve sometimes it's okay to cry." Nicole said
I gave her a sad smile.
"Steve stay here for a quick sec I need to explain some things to her."
"About what?"
"That I'm her new nurse, and something's about her condition."
"Oh okay." She opened the door and went inside.

Nicolette POV

Steve seems so special, I'm surprised he hasn't found me weird. Well what ever. I really like him, he makes me happy. And I don't feel nervous talking to him with is amazing. He is so caring about his little brother and sister. When he was talking to Timothy I literally started to feel tears coming down my cheeks.

I decided to help Steve out and be the nurses to his sister.

I walked into her room. My heart started to hurt a bit seeing Steve's little sister have a tube in her mouth to support her to breath.
"Hi Bella, I'm Nicolette your new nurse, you can call me Nicole, nick, or niki. I wanted to let you know that your brother Steve is here with some of your friends." I said giving her a sad smile. She moved her hand and gave me a thumbs up.

I walked towards the door and opened it.
"You guys can come in" i signaled then to come in.

Steve's POV

I waited outside the door. I was so nervous,
"Stevie Bella is okay right" tommy said
"Once Nicole comes out we will see her okay."
"Nicole is very nice." Tommy said smiling
"Do you like her?" I said squatting down
"Yeah I like her better then Evie, like dally said Evie is a bitch." He said smiling, I bet he doesn't know what bitch means.
"Tommy you can't say that word, it's a bad word."
"Okay"
I stood up and Nicole opened the door
"You guys can come in" she gave me a sad smile. I walked in. My heart was beating fast.

Bella has a tube in her mouth to help her breath and she has so many bruises.  My eyes started to water.
"H-hi Bella it's S-Steve your big brother, how you h-holding up?" I said chocking on Tears.
She couldn't talk so she made signals with her hands. She waved her hand and put a thumbs side ways.
"Hi beautiful Bella it's me tommy!" Tommy said jumping on a chair that was next to her. Nicole was standing next to me and Bella made a heart shape with here hands.
"Bella this is my new girl friend Nicolette, she is also your nurse she is real nice." She gave me 2 thumbs up. I chucked to myself.
Dally was sitting on a chair next to her.
"I should of gone with you, it's my fault I didn't protect you princess, it's my fault." Dally kept blaming himself. Bella waved her hand saying no and then pointing to her self.
"Bella we should have been with you" I said
She sighed.
"We should let you rest, we will be back tomorrow okay." I couldn't stand seeing my baby sister like that. We all said bye and headed out the door. Nicole came up to me.
"Steve she's crying"
"I can't bare see her like that it hurts my heart." I said
"I know but one of you should stay, keep her company." Nicole said
"I can" pony said
"Yeah I can hang out with pony and Bella" Johnny said
"Okay I will be back tomorrow okay, bye guys." I said I picked tommy up and said bye to Nicole
"I'll see you tonight Nicolette" I said winking at her and walking out of the hospital
"Are you happy that you saw Bella?" I asked tommy
"Yeah, at least she is not dead." Tommy said
"Yeah i guess your right but I didn't like seeing her like that."
"I didn't like that thing she had in her mouth it made me sad but I know she will be okay, bella always is okay." Tommy said nodding
"Let's go home tommy"
