"So he almost hit you with his powered up hand he got from the c-virus and then you kissed him?" I looked at Chris after he told me what happened on Jake's drinking night. "And then you left on the mission without him again." I said and he sighed, nodding slowly. "The boy is lucky to be in love with you." I said and he rolled his eyes. "Yeah thanks Jill I got the message." He groaned and I had to laugh. "What's so funny?" He asked me. "It's funny to see you of all people sulking because of someone."
"He has to be so angry and sad.. Again." Yeah I remember how bad it was when we left right after he was admitted to the hospital. During that time Chris worried a lot that Piers would forget about him. And it was even harder when Chris found out that Piers lives with Leon now. "After we kissed we talked. I asked him if he wants to move into my house. He lived there once when he joined the BSAA. He said he wants to stay at Leon's." Chris really looked sad about it but what did he expect. "Honestly Chris what did you expect? You left him, then you made him think that you think he is disgusting, you argued and now you left without him again. I think he wants to stay with Leon cause he feels safer there." I said and he looked at me. "What do you mean?" I sighed. Sometimes Chris was so stupid. "Leon was here during the hardest time of his life. Like it or not, Muller too. He feels safer with them. They saw him with all these fresh scars and mutated eye and amputated arm. With you, he feels like he has to be always the best so you could be proud of him." I said but he was still looking at me the way he was few minutes ago. "Jesus Chris! Even tho he really loves you, he is still scared of it. Cause it's you." He finally nodded and I sighed in relief. "Don't push him. Give him time." I smiled and patted his knee. "Okay it's time to move again." I said and he agreed, calling up to our team. This China mission seemed really easy until we met the enemies. It was supposed to be a quick kill mission. To prevent these guys to create a new virus and new B. O. W. Esier said than done. HQ didn't warn us there will be already a lot of j'avos protecting them. "Chris! Watch out!" I yelled when I noticed one of them sneaking up on Chris from the roof. Chris turned over quickly and shot it few times in the head and body. It's body burned and then turned into the dust. "Thanks." He said and I winked. I'm sure soldier Nivans would skin me alive if something would happen to Chris. Then we heard the scream of our men. "Everyone back off, move out!" Chris commands but it was too late. They had us trapped withing a circle and two men and one woman came out of the building. "Chris Redfield. Jill Valentine." The woman said and I looked at Chris. Did we know her? "Do I know you?" Chris barked back. Always so polite. "You know my sister. Ada Wong." The woman said and Chris growled under his breath. "Ada." He whispered. "If you would follow us inside please. Or do you want me to tell them to help you?" She raised her brow and on that thing pushed me forward. "Don't touch her!" Chris screamed and shot it in the head. And then it all happened to fast. Chris was shot in his shoulder and we were taken inside the building anyway. They took us through many halls and rooms. Before they locked us up in one. I pressed against Chris's wound and he hissed. "It's not that bad. It went through and out." I said and he nodded. Our group was taken somewhere else and I knew we won't see them again. "They are going to use them as lab rats." Chris voiced out my thoughts and I nodded. "Yeah.." In another few minutes one man came in with two others who were holding Chris down while he treated to his wound. And then we were alone again, our hands tied up. "What are they going to do?" I whispered and he shook his head. "I don't know Jill. I just know I lost all my men again." He said and leaned against the wall. I smiled as I noticed Piers' dog tags dangling around his neck. "Lucky charm?" I asked and he hummed before he got what I meant. "He told me to keep them." He said and smiled. He wanted to continue but the door opened and the woman stepped in with the two men from before. "I'm sorry about the shot but you were asking for it. Now why are you here."
"You wanna use us as your lab rats?" I said and she laughed. "I used your men for that already. But you two are here as a bait." She said and winked at Chris. "Bait for who?" Chris asked and I already didn't like the answer. "We heard about your little soldier. The one who survived the c-virus and can still use the power of it. We need him and Muller." She said and Chris growled. "Leave him alone!" He yelled at her. "He doesn't even know what's happening." I said and she looked at me. "Oh.. My sister took care of that. Not minding too of course. She warned Leon Kennedy about it. So I'm sure your soldier is now on his way here." She said and Chris tried to free himself. "No! Please don't hurt him!" He screamed in pure anger as she left the room, her minions following her. "Jill if he knows she is right. He is on his way here. With Muller too, I'm sure." He said and tried harder. "Chris calm down. He is strong and Leon is there with them too, I'm sure." I tried to comfort him but it was useless. We need to find a way how to free us before they will capture Piers and Jake.
