Aria was standing near the porch, leaning against the wall as she stared at the sky.

It was maybe a week after the operation and almost a month after Aria had been brought here.

She sipped a can of beer as she looked at the moon and thought about her life.

What had happened? Aria didn't understand how she had come to this point. To being afraid of these people, to being on the brink of love with one of them.

She shook her head, laughing at herself and sipped some more alcohol, somehow feeling better by the drink.

If she had to think of the future, she didn't know if it would include Jason. If it would include any of the members of Gray Dawn. Why would they want any communication with her after she left, after she got proof that the threat on her was no longer there?

What if she didn't leave? What if she stayed? But no, she didn't want to make their life more difficult by trying to protect one more person. But she couldn't help but think, would Jason want her to stay? After the last few days...maybe.

She smiled, remembering how every night they kissed and talked, not bothering to accelerate from that point, taking everything slow and steady. Aria liked it. Jason was new to this. She knew. The way his hands still shook every time she kissed him heatedly, and his hesitation whenever he did something during their make out sessions, as if he was afraid that Aria wouldn't like it.

She was willing to take it slow for him, and for herself as well. She needed time for deciding anything regarding any important parts of her life. And Jason was proving to be a very important part indeed.

He was everything she could possibly ask for. Everything she wanted. And she didn't want to loose him. Heck, she didn't want to loose any of the boys, all of them starting to become such good friends.

Every night, she helped Nathan and Hayden cook, because they were hell bent on making her at least a decent cook. Aria didn't mind in the least. She remembered how she always ordered the soggy ramen from the Chinese place downtown or she would toast something up for herself, and she actually felt excited at the thought of cooking for herself.

Max helped her in defense training. She never heard him say so, but she knew she was good at almost everything somehow. It was like she knew everything from a long time but just hadn't practiced. Surprisingly, Max was a pleasure to be with, the dad jokes he told were almost as bad as Aria's, which was very endearing to her and she looked forward to his puns everyday.

Logan was very soothing. Maybe it was the fact that he was the leader or was the most experienced, but whenever Aria looked at him, she felt reassured for some reason. Although she didn't really talk to the tall man as much as she talked to his brother, she did have a good enough relationship with him as well.

Noah was another case. She didn't know why but she thought that Noah didn't like Aria that much. Maybe it was her own flawed judgement, but the way he never spoke to her that much, or always excused himself whenever she was in the same room, it irked her a little. Yet still, the silver haired man was always nice to her. His deep voice and calm yet crazy aura somehow made Aria feel as if whatever happened, at the end of the day,he would save everyone.

Tyler was a shocking discovery. From the day she found out that he was into photography and videography, she made sure to always help him with many photos and videos he had made, as she was a fan of editing and making videos as well. Almost everyday, they spent some time in his studio, Tyler telling her about his obsession with photography and videography and Aria making acceptable edits on the black haired male's expensive technology.
