The next week found half the members of Gray Dawn, including Logan, Noah, Max and Jason, walking into a fancy restaurant for a meeting with the High Quarter and some of the other gang members.

Again, Jason looked around the gigantic hallway filled with fluorescent lights and sighed.

Couldn't they have a meeting at a normal place?

They had left Hayden and Tyler at the warehouse to be with Aria, as Nathan was at his university's party, because she didn't have enough training to defend herself against any enemies.

Although she could easily give Hayden a hard fight in hand to hand combat, something Jason had found a lot of interest in watching. So everyday, as Max and Hayden worked on Aria's defensive skills, Jason sat there in the training room, somehow captivated by how the girl moved and progressed everyday.

Jason was still wary for her for some reason. He kept thinking about Aria, his hand twitching near his phone as if he expected Hayden or Tyler to call them any moment.

He pulled himself together as they entered the dimly lit room and saw Alana Evans, Evans McCarthy and Hugh Thornton sitting at the head of the long table.

Beside them, on the right side sat two men. Jason recognized Dave easily and his jaw clenched as his hand automatically neared the sleek gun on his hip. The other man was the same one that had nodded at Alana Evans on the day they had their meeting with all the gangs. His hair was dark and gelled back and his light blue eyes looked over to the door as Gray Dawn entered.

Jason saw representatives from other gangs as well, such as the man from Ink High who had given Max and Jason a heated look and the tall man who's name was...

Lucas, Jason remembered.

Jason sat as Logan and the others did and after some pleasantries were exchanged, Alana Evans went straight to the point.

"You all have the girl."

"Yes." Noah answered and Alana nodded, "Very well. I would like to comment on Gray Dawn's ability to carry out the mission. And we hope that you will perform with the same vigour in whatever comes next."

"As long as it helps people." Logan nodded.

Alana nodded as well and then the man who had light blue eyes intervened, "Where is that girl as of now?"

"Where do you think she is, Mason?" Noah asked, raising an eyebrow and Mason shrunk back, gulping but Dave continued,

"What my leader means to say is, that if the girl is in your custody, isn't that dangerous for her? Talking about the attack on your gang member and the threat on her of course."

Jason felt himself frown as he understood what the representatives of SM were implying.

Alana Evans looked at her partners, frowning slightly, "What do you suggest we do otherwise, Mason?" Alana asked, looking at the man.

"Well. Of course, all of us know that this girl is somehow very important to this new gang. So shouldn't we be specially wary for her? We have to keep her away from any kind of danger or threat. And staying with the most deadliest gang in America, which has many people, dangerous people, targeting them seems like an irrational and irresponsible thing to do."

Jason saw Noah raise his eyebrows at the blue eyed man who shifted uncomfortably before continuing,

"What I would suggest is that the girl should be kept under the surveillance of SM Movement. We are just messengers and investigators. We do not have threats on our heads. At least not that we know of. And we do know quite a lot. So I think it would be more right and safer for the girl to stay with us. At least until the threat on her has subsided."
