Aria inhaled deeply, looking at the window which she had opened after almost two weeks, staring at the dark night.
It had been two weeks. Two weeks since she had been brought here. Two weeks since her life had taken a strange yet not exactly hated route.
She missed her life, even though she wasn't exactly living in spectacular conditions on her own, she still had some freedom and liberty to go out and earn for herself, to be free and hang out with her friends.
She missed her best friend, Hayley. The blonde was her closest companion. Well, it wasn't like Aria has a lot of friends but Hayley was her safe haven.
Even though she was once attacked by the unknown gang as well, just because she was there with her, Hayley never once blamed it on Aria, or made her feel guilty about it. She was the one who even took some of her shifts at the supermarket when Aria took a break from working, fearing her life.
And she hadn't talked to her in two weeks, didn't know how she was doing, how her family was doing.
She felt like a horrible friend and she sighed, chewing her lip as she thought.
Finally, she nodded and walked outside. It was the night before the gang's operation at the address Tyler had found and Aria didn't know if anyone would be awake.
Shrugging, she walked in the corridor, mustering up courage and knocked on Logan's door.
She frowned when she didn't get any response and knocked again.
She walked some more, thinking about her next move when she paused, then shrugged, walking over to Noah's door.
She calmed her heart and took a deep breath.
"You can do this, Ari." She told herself and knocked on the silver haired boy's door.
Few seconds later, he opened the door, and Aria widened her eyes at the state of his naked chest.
What is it with the boys in this gang and not wearing shirts?!
She swallowed, face flushing in embarrassment and Noah raised an eyebrow, his sunkissed tan skin almost gleaming in the corridor light.
Aria cleared her throat.
Get it together.
"Uh, can I talk to you for a second?" She said firmly and Noah raised both eyebrows.
"Sure." He gestured for her to come inside his room and Aria did, standing awkwardly as he went and sat down on a beanbag, which was grey in colour.
"Well. I-uh. I wanted to talk to someone."
Noah tilted his head, "Talk to someone?"
Aria nodded.
"To whom?" His deep voice asked and Aria swallowed as he crossed his arms, the nicely toned biceps coming into view and Aria stammered,
"M-my friend. Hayley. I haven't talked to her in two weeks. I just need to know how she's doing. And just to let her know that I'm fine. She was really scared for me because of these attacks."
Noah stared at the Aria and she cleared her throat again, feeling incredibly awkward.
Finally, he shrugged lightly, taking out a mobile from his desk and then walked closer to Aria, holding it out for her.
She widened her eyes. This was easy.
"You can talk to your friend. But only for forty seconds. Or anyone can track our address."
