Raimei frowned when he noticed Hana was crying.

He could see it in her clear blue eyes and even through her kind, but fake smile... Ribbon hasn't come back ever since she escaped...

"We're such terrible parents, aren't we?", Pikachu sighed, looking down in shame and sadness, "Ribbon's still lost somewhere... but she will come back. I'm sure of it. Though when she comes back she'll be in deep trouble", he mumbled; he wanted to make sure the Pichu never tried to run away far from home again.

"Ribbon... everytime I think of her my heart feels heavy... I get this hard feeling on my chest... Pikachu... what, what if", she couldn't bring herself to finish the sentence.

"What if we don't ever see her again?".

Raimei stared at her in shock, brown eyes widening as he stopped walking, like her, "...No. We'll see her again. There's no other option...", he tried to reassure her and himself.

"Pikachu--".

"No, Hana!".

The Sylveon stayed silent, her mate really couldn't even bear with the thought of losing their daughter; neither could she, but Hana was trying to stay strong for him.

"Sylveon! Pikachu! You're back!", Serena said in relief as she got up, wearing her usual pajamas, and running towards the two Pokémon. She held her Sylveon in her arms and let Ash's Pikachu climb over her back with a familiar smile.

The three walked inside the camping grounds at a slow pace, in quiet company before Serena bittersweetly opened the tent entrance before going in.

"Hana? Pika?", Pancham lifted his head when he saw the Pokémon couple walk in, "Have you found any traces of her?", he asked impulsively as his eyes lit up. Raimei slowly shook his head, frowning and eyes downwards.

"Oh... I-- I'm sorry, Hana. I'm sorry, Pikachu. We'll find Pichu soon, I swear! I've been searching with Braixen and Greninja everywhere around the camp... look at how tired she is...", he apologized, bowing down his head, as the two noticed Braixen sleeping behind him.

"We're very thankful for that", Sylveon smiled sweetly at him, though Pikachu couldn't look at either of them, "I can always count on you two".

"Hm", the Bear Pokémon hummed, smiling back at her with raised, determined fists, "We'll find Ribbon! You're our sister, she's our niece".

Hana's blue eyes shone along the moon outside the tent, the stars raising over their heads and the blackening sky wouldn't let her see anything clearly for the rest of the night.

We can only hope to find you, sweetie... We can only hope.
-

Ribbon cuddled herself in the middle of the night, wrapping deep inside blankets and thinking just as deeply.

I... I can't sleep.

She sighed afterwards, glancing around the room with her blue eyes: nothing but darkness. Suisei was probably training in the woods with Sueki again, as they did usually, Suisei said it helped Zoroark calm down when he got angry.

"Mister Sparky--!".

Oh, right. She hadn't seen the Jolteon in a whole day. Before, she thought Sueki might have eaten him like he said but apparently her thoughts were deemed foolish as Sanda was as good as new...

Well, she wouldn't say "good".

Ribbon was still suspicious of him, and wouldn't let her guard down no matter what.

The other night when I couldn't sleep, Mister Sparky was there for me. He let me rest beside him... and now I'm worried where he could be... Sanda has already returned.

She decided the best was to go for a walk in the woods and find out by herself.

That night, somewhere far away, Hana couldn't sleep either. She shifted and moved and opened her eyes a lot, which Pikachu noticed. There was a point where she just couldn't stand it and got up into her paws.

"Hana... it's very late... what are you doing?", Pikachu finally asked his mate as she glanced back at him talking. "I don't want to stay here and do nothing anymore...", she muttered under her breath.

"What?".

"I will look for Ribbon! Right now!".

"What?! Hana, i-it's midnight! We should wait until morning...", Raimei exclaimed, lowering his voice when nagging her. But the Sylveon wouldn't bother, "I... I don't care if I have to go by m-myself!", she tried to seem stubborn but it was clear she hoped Pikachu had the same mindset as her.

"Why so suddenly? You were alright with hoping and letting things happen just two hours ago!", the electric mouse rose to his feet, staring at her intensely.

"I'm tired of "hoping"! You heard what Pancham said: we'll find her, not, she'll come to us! We have to keep searching! D-day and night...", Sylveon's head sunk on Pikachu's right shoulder, "We can't stand still... we have to do something, Pikachu!".

"...", Pikachu stood silently, letting her rest and thinking her proposal over.

"...I-I love her, Pikachu. I'm her mother. I'll look for her until the very end", she said firmly.

"I love her, too", Raimei's smile finally came back, "I'm her father. We'll find her! Come on, we still have time! Let's go towards the woods", he signalled the trees outside the tent and Hana nodded.

"Mister Sparky...! Mister...!", Ribbon hollered into the forest, calling for the Jolteon, but she still couldn't see him anywhere.

"Hm...", Ribbon reached for her mouth, worried.

"Well, hello, there, little girl~".

Ribbon let out a sharp shriek at the sight of a wild Hypno.
