There was a knock at the door at 10am. I sprinted down the stairs and saw my mother inviting a lady in to the house. She looked liked she was in her late 50's, and had a short hair cut (a bit like a boy's), glasses and was wearing a winnie the pooh cap. "Hi, Nessie. I'm Sally, your riding instructor," she smiled in a confident, yet kindly voice. I already liked her. "Would you like a cup of tea?" My mother asked, leading her into the kitchen. I followed them in and found a brand new pair of riding boots shining on the counter, with a pink bow tied around the ankles. "Renesmee, your father and I thought you needed some riding boots so brought you these," said mom, handing me the amazing boots. I gasped and carefully unpicked the bow, slipping them on over my socks. They fit perfectly. I smiled and hugged my mother delightedly. I was looking forward to trying them out later on. "Unfortunately the hat hasn't come, but it will arrive in time for your next lesson in a week's time," she said, boiling the kettle. "That's okay! These boots are perfect, thank you!" Mom bustled around the kitchen, making tea and cutting a slice of handmade coffee and walnut cake. She layed it on a plate and handed it to Sally. "All this fuss! I haven't even started teaching Nessie yet!" smiled Sally, tucking into the cake. "Don't worry, I know you'll do an amazing job," mother smiled, finishing the tea and placing it next to Sally's plate. Dad came in at that exact moment, shaking hands with Sally. Hi, I'm Renesmee's dad."

"Ah, hello Mr Cullen."

"Please, call me Edward," father said, walking over to mom and putting an arm around her waist. Sally gulped her tea down and nibbled her cake, asking me questions.

"So do you go to school here, Rensmee?" she asked me. I was about to respond, but my father cut in.

"Ah, no. We've just moved and are still looking for the right school for her," he replied. I looked eagerly at my parents. Did the mean it? They were looking at schools! But dad gave me a stern look, implying that we'd talk about it later.

"Oh, where have you moved from?"

"We used to live on the outskirts of Forks in Washington, with my Grandpa Carlislie and Grandma Esme." I answered.

"Yes, we moved here from Edward's parents' house, thinking they'd probably like some space," my mother said. Of course, that wasn't the real reason, but we couldn't tell her the truth.

"Ah, I see. So, Nessie, shall we crack on with your lesson?" Sally smiled, gulping down the rest of her tea. Mother led her out into the garden, nattering away, with me and father following behind. "Did you mean it? Am I going to school?" I whispered into my dad's ear, quiet enough for Sally not to hear.

"Now's not the time to discuss it, love. Concentrate on you riding lesson," father said. So that was that conversation ended.

A/N This chapter is dedicated to Sue, my old riding instructor. I used to go horseriding on a weekly basis when I was much younger, and my instructor Sally is pretty much based around the real one (with the same Winnie the Pooh cap) :). Don't forget to vote, my wonderful readers, because without you this story wouldn't be carrying on XD
