Our grounds were huge. A long path led to the centre of the garden, where a large swimming pool sat between a small brown cabin and a barbecue and seating area. Wondering what was in the builidng, I walked over to it and peered inside. A curved sofa sat in front of a TV covering most of the wall. A bar was tucked in the corner, next to the door to what looked like a small bathroom. I also noticed that two of the walls and the ceiling could all open up completely. Behind the pool was a deep woods, stretching quite far out. I skipped in to the forest and nearly fainted. Last time I was in the woods, I was nearly killed. Thankfully, a high fence ran along the whole of the outskirts of the woods, meaning we had lots of freedom but high security. Our own private land! A treehouse sat in between two trees. I climbed up the wooden staircase and opened the rusty door. Inside were two red velvet armchairs surrounding a loveseat of the same material, all in which were covered in blankets and cushions. A cosy woodburner was tucked in the corner, next to a tall cabinet that reached the ceiling, stuffed with different sized books and memorabilia. I clambered back down the ladder. To the side of the woods was a small wooden gate. I opened it and entered a large paddock, also fenced. A small wooden building stood near the top of the field. If this is what I think it is...

I raced the builiding, suddenly halting before I crashed into the half-door (the top half was open). I came face to face with a beautiful chestnut horse, with a white stripe running down its nose, and white markings on its ankles to make it look like it was wearing socks. I bent down, so I could just see over the top of the door, and checked the gender of the young pony. Yes, the horse was a girl! I decided to name her...Luna. Ah, hanging on a silver plate on the wall was the name 'Luna'. Good old Alice. Luna's coat was stunningly shiny to stroke, and her chocolate tail and mane were newly washed and brushed. "Go ahead, Nessie, take her for a ride," a voice behind me said. I turned around to see my mother and father, smiling. I grinned and hugged them both tightly, before opening the stable door. This was it, I was about to ride my very own horse.
