Nessie's POV
We pulled up outside a massive stone house. It was decorated beautifully with a grand porch and many balconies. I couldn't wait to go and look round. "Before you go and explore, Rensemee, here's a present from Grandpa Carlisle and Grandma Esmee." My father turned round from the driver's seat and handed me a small rectangular box wrapped in pink flowery tissue paper. I pulled away from Jake's chest and delicately pulled the paper so it would open. It revealed a black box with a picture on the front. It was an image of the newest high-tec camera. A Canon EOS 1100D. "Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!"
I ran up the long driveway and burst open the front door. The entrance hall was amazingly large, with a set of stairs that split in two halfway, and then closed together again at the top. Either side of the staircase was a dresser containing a mirror, lampshade and scented candles. A sparkling chandelier hung from the ceiling. There were many rooms on the ground floor: a massive kitchen (including a walk in fridge and larder), a utility room, two grand living rooms (one furbished red and gold, the other pale green and cream), a dining room set for twenty people, two downstairs bathrooms, a conservatory (basically another seating area), a study with three desks (all holding iMac computers and endless drawers full of stationery), a music room (with a grand piano, guitars, drum kit and and other smaller instruments) and a library. There was also a huge, nicely deocrated basement with a gym and games room. Upstairs started to get interesting. Each bedroom had an en suite, and there was also a family bathroom. There were 8 bedrooms in total, 3 of which were spare and the other 5 were dedicated to each couple in the Cullen family (and Jake). I knew this thanks to the pretty labels hanging on each door. I was confused; where was my room? Maybe it led off of my mother and father's room? I peeked round their door. A king sized bed sat in the centre of the room, decorated with various blue cushions and throws. A white chaise lounge sat in front of the large bay window framed with soft blue curtains. The carpet was fluffy and white.I looked for doors. There was only an en suite, and a closet. No extra bedroom. I exited the room and kept looking, coming ot the end of the hall. There was one door on the left, and a set of staircases on the right, leading to the floor above. I opened the door on the left. Inside was a humungous playroom, equipped with a swing hanging from the ceiling, a slide leading into a large ballpit in the centre of the room, bookshelves, a cosy reading area with beanbags and pillows, and many chests and shelves containing toys. My eyes were drawn to the right side of the room, however, where a gigantic two storey playhouse stood. I opened the front door, just the right size for me, and crept in to a small, rustic kitchen with a tiny dining table with two chairs, a play oven and a small working fridge, full of different chocolates and snacks. Another door led to a cosy living room with a miniscule velvet sofa and matching armchair, and more bookshelves on the walls. A set of stairs went up to the second storey, containing a baby's crib and chest of drawers. A beautiful baby doll sat in a pram opposite the crib, wearing a pale lilac dress and white booties. I could already see me playing endless games in my own cottage with my own baby.
