Bella's POV

I left Renesmee snuggled up to Jacob and crept downstairs. Edward was writing a song. "Hey," I whisper tiptoeing in. Edward spun round and smiled, patting the small space next to him on the stool. I sat down and nestled into his chest, listening to him play softly with one hand, the other wrapped around my shoulders. Once he had finished he kissed the top of my head and looked deeply into my eyes. 'So, what did you think? I'm still working on the second line, but I think the rest will please Renesmee'.

'Its beautiful, she'll love it.' We sat in silence for a while, before Edward took my hand and led me into the woods. 'Shall we go for a midnight run?' We shot through the woods like two bullets, stopping to climb up the occasional tree. I could have sworn something or someone dressed in a long black cloak sprinted past us. Probably just my imagination.

When we returned back to the house we jumped through the window and cuddled up in the armchair opposite the sofa which contained Renesmee, Jacob, Roaslie and Esme. The others were out hunting. Eventually Renesmee stirred. We decided, to go back to the cottage and let her sleep in her own bed. I sat in our cosy lounge, my head in Edward's lap. He stroked my hair softly. The moment was perfect: me and my wonderful husband huddled together in front of a warm fire, our beautiful daughter fast asleep in the next room. It was magical.
