After a lot of discussion with the rest of the family, Edward and I decided that it would be best for us three (Edward, me and Ness) to move to one of our many houses in Seattle, a flight's distance away from our current home here in Forks.

"So it's settled. We'll move tomorrow morning," Edward said calmly. I heard a pattering of feet come in to the large kitchen.

"We are moving?" Nessie yawned from the doorway. I went and picked her up, snuggling her tight to my chest.

"Nessie, how would you feel about moving to Seattle?"

Her eyes suddenly went big as she pulled away from her position. "Can we really? Yay! Can I have the biggest bedroom? And can we have a swimming pool? And can I have a pony?"

"Don't push it, love," chuckled Edward. "We'll see about the  pony, but the rest should be manageable!"

"Hang on, what about Jake? And Grandpa Charlie?" Nessie whispered. Oh. God, my child is smarter than me.

"Well, love, we can still fly back to see them," Edward said.

Nessie's lip quivered. "But...but..."

"I'll go talk to Jake. He could come with us. Charlie on the other hand..." I handed Nessie to Edward and left the room. Jake was sitting on the floor, snoring like a hippopotammus. "JAKE WAKE UP!" I shouted.

"What?" he grunted, looking startled.

"Look, last night, when Nessie ran off, the reason she was hurt is because she was attacked by Jane-"

"What? Is she ok? Let me see her!"

"JAKE SHE'S FINE! However, we aren't too sure about the safety around here. So, we are moving to Seattle-"

"SEATTLE?"

"Let me finish. If Billy didn't mind, you could come too, if you want. Or stay in a house closer if our 'smell' is really that 'disgusting'."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, only if you are."

"I'm sure Billy will understand. I'd better go tell him. Listen, er... thanks."

"I'm just doing it to keep Nessie happy. So you'd better do your job and protect her."

"Of course. Scout's honour." Jacob smiled.

Good, that was Jake tackled. Now for Charlie.
