Bella's POV
My father came round for brunch the next day. As usual, we all made our excuses of not being hungry, leaving only Jake, Nessie and Charlie to eat. We layed out homemade croissants and brioche, various fruits, orange juice and coffee. After piling up a plate for Nessie, I joined my family around the table. It was probably best to leave the bad news of our moving until the last minute; we didn't want to ruin Charlie's morning with us. "How's my little grandaughter doing? My Nessie, you've grown since I last visited a couple of weeks ago. And your hair! It's down to your waist already!" exclaimed Charlie, looking a little anxious. Nessie grinned back at him, showing a mouthful of banana. "Nessie, close your mouth love. No one wants to see your food," Edward said sternly yet fairly. Ness quickly shut her mout and continued chewing. "So, Charlie, how are you?" Carlisle asked. My father seemed a little different.
"I'm...erm, not too bad, actually."
"How's Sue?" I questioned.
"She's...ugh...erm....fine, I guess." Charlie sighed. Yes, something was definitely off about him.
"Dad, what's wrong?"
"Look, I hated lying to you all, but me and Sue have been...seeing each other." I gasped in surprised shock. Excited murmurs erupted around the room. With my vampire ears, I heard each small conversation.
"Aww, they'll be such a good couple! Bagsy wedding planner! " Alice giggled to Jasper.
"What about the vampires and the werewolves being...you know...well, hating each other?" Emmet murmured to Rosalie.
"They'll be so happy together!" Esme whispered to Carlisle.
"That's great news Dad!" I smiled, reaching for my father's hand across the table. I'm sure you'll be great company for each other!". Edward cleared his throat and everyone turned their eyes back to him. "Shall we go into the living room?"
"Renesmee, have you finished eating sweetie?"
"Yes mother, I am quite full. Thank you everyone, it was delicious," Nessie said, pusing her knife and fork together and sitting up formarly. Apart from Jake (still scoffing Ness' leftovers), we all went and sat down in the living room. "Listen, Dad, we have some news." My father went pale.
"You aren't having another child are you?"
"No, Charlie, and we won't be for a long time." Edward said as we shared a smile at his comment.
"Well, I have some news too. You go first, Bells." Charlie said, looking worried.
"We are....moving to Seattle." I sighed. There, that was it over and done with. I had told him.
"That's wonderful news!" grinned Charlie. Hang on, did I just hear that?
"It is?"
"Yes! Sue and I just brought a house out in Seattle! Okay, so we have been seeing each other for a few months now, and decided to settle down and get away fom this cramped town. I didn't know how to break it to you though. I'm so thrilled."
"Well, we shall dearly miss all of you. You can always come and visit though, whenever you like," Carlisle smiled.
Me and Edward shared an excited grin. We would be moving into a house for our small family, with my father living just a drive away. It shall be forever perfect.
