Everything was going wrong today.

Naruto left to train with Killer B.
Tsunade is running around and getting very grouchy.

"Idiots!" I yelled at the new interns. They weren't fit to be medical ninja if they're already so cocky. Thinking that they know everything from the years they had their noses in books.

I walked outside, slamming a fist into a tree. Shattering it into tiny pieces.

I walked back in, most of my anger gone.

"Get back to work. Don't get cocky with your higher ranks or patients or you'll be having a conversation with me." They immediately went to work.

"Aka-!" I looked down from my charts to see Asuma and Kurenai's daughter.

I smiled before kneeling down and picking her up.

"Hey Mirai!" I laughed pressing kisses all over her face as she giggled.

The one year old giggled.

"Hey!" I smiled hugging Asuma and Kurenai. "I haven't seen you in months."

"Well, with everything going on, I'm not surprised." Asuma said. "When's the wedding? You and Kakashi have been engaged for 8 months. And dating for how long? I've lost count." I laughed.

"We both decided to get married after, with the war and preparing joubin, chunin and medical ninjas, we don't have time to see each other let alone plan a wedding." I sighed. Mirai was playing with my hair as we spoke.

"How are you feeling Kurenai? Are you here for your year checkup?" I asked. I had been the one to deliver Mirai but Kurenai had some complications that left her and Mirai in the ICU.

"I'm doing much better. Mirai seems like she's doing better but we're taking her in for a checkup."

"I'm free. I can do it, I just finished organizing all doctors to train their-" I covered Mirai's ears"- idiotic - interns. Follow me." I smiled as one of the nurses handed me their files and we walked to an empty room.

-------

After I checked Kurenai, I checked Mirai.

"She's missing a few shots. Not surprising, every kid has been missing theirs since most parents are preparing for the war- but I'd like to give them to her to prevent her from getting sick." I opened the drawers to pull out the right amount of the vaccine for Mirai.

"Hey. Come here." I said as Mirai waddled over to me. I picked her up and opened the cabinet of candies.

"Pick one." She grabbed for the pink and blue lollipop before wiggling out of my grasp and to her parents.

"So she can eat that as I give her the shots." I put on my gloves and got ready some bandaids. She was talking to her parents white eating her lolli.

I quickly finished the shots and gave her two bandaids.

"All doNe!" I smiled, she raised her hands over her head and babbled:

"All done!" I smiled, kissing her cheek before they left.

------

I sighed as I slipped off my heels at the door.

I really needed to relax.

I went to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of wine, as I walked to my couch, I took my hair out of its ponytail and ruffled with it.

I slumped down onto the couch and flickered through the channels on the TV.
