Everything was  slowly getting back to normal and in that normalcy, today was our wedding.

We decided for more of a modern wedding, Kakashi thought we've been through too much with traditional things for it to be effective for a perfect wedding day.

I wore a white wedding dress with a deep v cut and it was backless. My pink hair was tied up into a low bun, with pieces framing my face.

"Onee-chan you look beautiful!" Sakura said as I held my bouquet. I took a deep breath.

"Thank you. God, I don't know why I'm so nervous." I laughed walking around in my dress and heels.

"Because you're about to marry the love of your life." I turned around to see Itachi smiling at me with Sasuke by his side.

Sakura blushes at Sasuke presence. I went to hug itachi.

"You made it! Thank you, both of you." I said.

"Like I would miss my best friends wedding."

—————-

The wedding was sweet and simple. Full of close friends and family.

As Kakashi leaned in for the kiss at the alter, I covered his face with my veil.

We head cheers and screams as we separated.

"You're my wife now." Kakashi smiled.

"And you're my husband." I grinned.

—————-

We all danced around, eating cake.

"KAKASHIII SENSEIII FINALLY GOT HITCHHHED!" A drunk Naruto yelled, Hinata supporting him so he didn't fall over. I giggled, holding a glass of champagne to my lips.

My parents danced on the dance floor with many of the other jounin's. Sakura finally got a grip on talking to Sasuke and all the other 20 year olds had finally found someone.

"Thank you." I heard, I turned around seeing Guy looking at me in his green suit.

"The surgery worked! You're walking!" I laughed giving him a hug.

He smiled.

"What's wrong? What happened to the youthful Guy?" I joked.

"Well everyone is being super hectic, I thought you didn't need another 99% increase of that. But again thank you."

"For what?"

"For making Kakashi happy. For the 30 years I've known him, he's been so uptight and gloomy, sure he smiled but it was fake. Then he met you, he smiled often and his mood was lifted. Sure you guys split up w couple of times but you found your way back to each other every single time."

"That was sweet but, it's all him. He made himself happy again."

"Whatever you say. Now go dance with your husband! You're newlyweds!"

I laughed before we both danced into the floor, kakashi immediately kissing me getting cheers from all his buddies.

——————-

The wedding had calmed down and it was about 4 am in the morning. Everyone went home but we had something to do.

We brought a glass of champagne, tea pot with cups, a little pin that said "father of the groom" and flowers.

I lifted my dress as we walked through the grass to the grave.

Kakashi cleaned it off as I replaced the flowers.

I placed the tea cup on the grave of his father and mother, filling it up and bowing.

I had suggested to Kakashi that we should do a little traditional ceremony with his parents since he said they were traditional.

"We didn't have to do this, you know."

"I wanted to, honey. I think your parents would want to see their only child get married and since they couldn't be here today, I had to at least give them some closure that their son was getting taken care of." I smiled. I placed the glass of champagne on each of the grave stones and a little note that we gave out to everyone.

"Thank you for coming to celebrate us, every one of you made a difference in our life's and without you, you can bet we wouldn't be here."

I stood up looking at the graves, hand in hand with Kakashi quietly.

I glanced over to him, tears running down his face. I stepped in front of him, smiling and wiping his tears away, kissing his cheek.

We stood there silently, watching the sun rise.

His silver band glistening in the sunlight with mine.
