Chapter 38

Finn's p.o.v:

I was at Rachel's house taking care of her while Santana and the Cheerios had a competition. We were talking about what we wanted to do after high school she asked me what I wanted to do and I told her the whole time we were talking we couldn't stop starting into each other's eyes and then she kissed me I kissed back but she pulled away.

"Finn I'm so sorry" she said freaking out and sat in the couch

"Don't be sorry" I said as I gave her my half smile

"Look I still like you but what you did the past two days really hurt me" she said looking down I sat next to her.

"Rachel what I did the past two days was stupid but I really like you and I'll do anything to be with you I'm sorry that I hurt " I said as I lifted up her chin and stared into her eyes

"I wanna be with you too but please Finn don't go off saying hurtful things we could talk about it okay" she said with a smile

"Sounds like I deal I'll listen for now on" I said smiled back

"So what are we then?" she asked shyly

"Rachel Berry would like to be my girlfriend?" I asked her excitedly

"YESSSSS" she said and jumped on my lap and hugged me " but can we take things slow and know each other more?" asked me as I stared into her beautiful brown eyes

"If that's what you okay we'll take things slow I won't rush you into anything" I said and kissed her lips

Rachel's p.o.v:

I can't believe I'm dating Finn now in a way I'm happy but I'm still upset but I know I'll get past it I just wanna take things slow with him and know him better.

"So Finn does your mom know you'll be staying here for a couple days?" I asked curiously

"Yeah she knows she was fine with as long as there's no funny business then it was okay" he said and winked at me

"Oh I need to text Santana" I said as I got my phone

"Hey San ❤️" and I sent the text she replied back

Santana💕:
Hey Berry you miss me already lol?

I replied back:
"Haha yes anyways thanks for giving Finn my clothes 😊"

Santana💕:
Anytime How are things is he being nice to you?

I could tell she was worried.
"Yeah everything good actually he asked me to be his girlfriend" I couldn't help but smile when I wrote that

Santana💕:
NO FREAKING WAY!!! I'm so happy for you Rach give me details when I get back. I have to go me and cedes are going to skype about our duet talk to you later take care bye 😘

I put my phone back down on the coffee table and I saw Finn in the kitchen cooking he's so sweet.

"Finn what are you doing?" I asked as I walked to the kitchen

"I'm making you dinner" I said with a smile

"Does it have meat?" I said jokingly

"Yeah why?" he looked confused

"I'm a vegan I don't eat meat Finn sorry I didn't tell you earlier" I said feeling guilt

"It's fine I was cooking pasta I don't need to add meat on your plate so don't worry about" he said as he kissed my forehead

"Thanks Finn" I smiled at him

I set up the table so we could eat. After I was done doing that Finn bought out the the plates and set them down. the whole time we were talking about our parents.

"So Rach where's your mom?" He asked

"Umm I don't know" I said sadly I always wanted to meet my mom but I never knew who she was my dads don't like talking about her.

"What do you mean you don't know?" he asked confused

"Finn I never meet my mom okay I don't even know who she is or how she looks like" I said with tears building up

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I was just asking that's all" he said with guilt

"No it's okay I'm fine I'm happy with my dads I'm sorry I snapped at you I just don't like that topic that's all" I said

"I won't bring her up again" he said and smiled at me man his smile drives me crazy

"So Finn how about you where's your dad if I may ask?" I asked him

"Will I don't know much about him I was a baby when died. he was in the army so I guess he died fighting for our country" he said it with sadness

"I'm so sorry Finn" I said and got up to hug him and I sat on his lap

"It's cool. All my life it's been my mom and I she's been both mom and dad and I really admire her for that and when she meet Burt I wasn't to excited cause he would replace my dad but after talking to him I knew nobody could ever replace my dad and I would see how happy he made my mom and I saw he truly did love her so a couple of months later they got married Kurt planned this nice small wedding" he said with a smile

"Yeah I know I helped me decorate the place and stuff" I said shyly

"What you helped out how come I didn't see you at the wedding?" he asked shocked

"I wanted to go but that day my dads wanted to be with me before they left on a business trip the day after" I said

"Anyways tell me about your dads what do the do?" he asked me

"Their lawyers but they always leave out of town for big cases or business so I am always left alone in my house that's why Kurt stays here sometimes" I said sadly

"But your not alone anymore" he said and kissed me.
