Chapter 57

Finn's p.o.v:

I was getting ready to go over to Rachel's house to meet her dads I was starting to get nervous and scared what if they didn't like me or tell Rachel that we shouldn't talk anymore. I heard a knock on the door and Kurt walked in.

"Finn can you stop freaking out please" Kurt said

"I'm not freaking out who told you that" I said nervous

"Did you forget our rooms are next to each other and I could hear you mumble and pacing back and forth" Kurt said annoyed

"I'm sorry I'm just freaking out what if her dads don't like me" I told him and sat in my bed

"Finn they will love you just be yourself that's all he dads are really nice men" Kurt said with a smile

"Okay thanks bro I gotta go pick up Sam which me luck" I said as I walked out my room

I picked up Sam from his house and started to drive to Rachel's the good thing the ride was only 20 mins. We got to her house I rang the doorbell.

"Dude can you stop you're making me nervous" Sam said

"Sorry man I'm just scared" I said nervously

Rachel opened the door she looked so beautiful she was wearing the same outfit but changed her shirt with a nice long sleeve.

"Hey guys thanks for coming" she said with a smile and opened the door more to let us in

"You look beautiful "I whispered to her as I walked in I notice she was blushing

"Dads this is Sam and Finn" Rachel told her dads as we walked to the living room where Santana, Quinn, and her dads were

"Nice to meet you Mr.Berry's I'm Finn Hudson" I said and shook their hands

"Nice to meet you Sir's I'm Sam Evans" Sam said and shook their hands too

"Please sit down" her dad said with a smile

We sat down with the girls Sam sat next to Santana and I sat next to Rachel and Quinn.

"So Sam you're Santana boyfriend am I correct?" Her dad asked Sam

"Yes sir" Sam said with a smile

"You guys look so cute together" one of her dads told them

"Thank you" Santana said with a smile

"So Finn I hear you and Rachel have been talking?" he dad asked me I was getting nervously

"Daddy don't scare him" Rachel said jokingly

"That's the whole point of this dinner" her dad laughing

"Finn he was just kidding relax" Rachel told me

"Haha to answer your question Mr.Berry yes we been talking" I said nervously

"You could call me Hiram and My husband Leroy Finn" he said with a smile

"Dinner ready let's go eat" Leroy said and we walked to the dinner table I pulled out Rachel's chair so she could sit down and Quinn's too then I sat down.

"So boys do you play any sports?" Hiram asked us

"Yeah Sam and I are in the football team" I said with a smile

"Nice when does season start" Hiram said impressed

"It starts in 2 weeks a week before sectionals" Sam said

"Oh you boys are in glee club too?" Leroy asked

"Yeah we're doing both our coach said it wasn't problem" I said

"So Finn who's you favorite team in football?" Hiram asked me

"I have to say the New York Giants" I said with a smile

"Ahh good time you think they'll make it to the Super Bowl next year?" he asked me

"I think so or at least playoffs" I said

"So Finn how did you meet our princess?" Leroy asked the question I've been waiting all night to hear. Rachel choked on her water when he said that.

"Sweetie are you okay?" Leroy asked her

"Umm yeah I think I drank too much water" she said nervously

"To answer your question I saw her one day walking down the hallway I was with some of my teammates talking about some of the games that happened during the weekend and I was about to go to my locker that's when I saw Rachel pass by me I couldn't help but smile when I saw her" I said with a big smile remembering when I first saw her

"How did you guys end up talking if I may ask?" Hiram said curiously

"The whole day I couldn't stop thinking about her I wanted to know who she was so the next day I was hoping to see her but I didn't see her at all until I walked into glee club there she was beautiful as ever sitting down with her perfect smile I wanted to talk to her but every time I tried people kept beating me too it until one day after glee club I went to my locker and I saw her there by herself with nobody in the way I saw she dropped her keys so I help her pick it up since then we been talking and getting to know one another" I said and smiled at her I notice she had a tear coming down her face and she was just smiling

"Do you like my daughter more then a friend?"Hiram asked

"To be honest yes I do I would like more then anything for her to be my girlfriend but as I said we agree to take things slow and get to know each other I don't want to rush her into anything she's not ready too" I said with a smile

"I like your honest Finn and by the looks of it I could tell you really love our daughter" Hiram said with a smile

We finished dinner and it was getting late so we had to leave I said goodbye to Rachel's dads and the girls and I went to drop off Sam. When I got home I went straight to bed feeling happy.
