Rachel's POV

Santana, Quinn, and Kurt went to do shopping for this week assignment for glee club Mr. Shue decided to do Lady Gaga week. It started out with me spying on Vocal Adrenaline to see what the might do for regionals and I saw them in red lace and right away I knew they were doing Gaga so I told the who glee club Mr.Shue was mad that I was spying on them but that's when he got the idea of Lady Gaga.

Since they didn't want me going I stayed home and decided to watch Funny Girl. Things with Chris have been going great he still mad about Finn kissing me and with Finn we talk a lot now but he tells me everyday he loves me so things are getting more confusing.

I was about to sit down on the couch when I heard the doorbell ring I got up and I didn't expect to see that person at my front door.

"Jesse what are you doing here?" I asked confused

"I need to talk to you, can I come in?" he asked

"Umm sure" I said confused and let him in we walked to the couch

"Okay Jesse what do you need to talk about" I said confused on why he was here

"Okay before I tell you. I need you to answer me have you ever wonder who your mom is?" he asked

"I mean yeah sometimes why are asking me this?" I asked confused

"Okay I know who your mom is" he blurt out

"Jesse if this is a joke it's pretty cruel" I said nervous

"Rachel your mom is my coach for Vocal Adrenaline its Shelby Corcoran" he said

"H-How do you know that?" I asked nervous

"She was singing the other day I felt like I recognize her voice somewhere then I took out my phone and YouTube your performance from sectionals then it matched Rachel she's your mom" he said freaking out

"No you're wrong Jesse. Umm I think you should leave before Santana comes and goes all Lima Heights on you" I said nervous

"Fine I'll leave but think about what I just told you" he said and left

After Jesse left I was just sitting there shocked what if he is right? No she left me but maybe she has a reason for leaving me ugh great now I wanna go spy on them again even though Mr.Shue said not to but this is a good reason too.

The next day I told Quinn and Mercedes that we should spy on Vocal Adrenaline to see what they're up too they agreed and we drove to Carmel High we went to seat down all the way on the top and watch them perform.

Just then Shelby stopped cause they were doing a bad job and she started singing "Funny Girl" from Funny Girl when she started singing I couldn't help get up and walk down to the stage Quinn try stopping me but I just kept walking. She was done singing and she smiled.

"Ms. Corcoran hi I'm Rachel Berry I'm your daughter" I said I couldn't believe that came out if my mouth she looked at me surprised

She dismissed everybody and we sat there in an awkward silence.

"So Rachel how did you know I was your mom?" she asked nervous

"Um when I heard you sing I felt like I had a connection like if I knew you" I said nervous

"Last time I saw you was when you were born I've grown up to a beautiful young lady" she said with a smile

"Why did you leave me?" I blurt out

"Rachel I didn't want to leave you but I had to do what was right for you and it looks like your dads have done a wonderful job with you" she said
