Mabel on the Ring

Birthday

Mabel's pov
I wake up early before anyone else. I was so excited because it was my birthday. I'm 6 years old today. I climbed out of bed and made my way quietly to the window and looked out towards Earth.
"It's my birthday today Mommy." I whisper
"Happy Birthday Princess."
I turn around and Daddy is standing behind me with a big grin on his face.
I run to him and he picks me up then spins me around.
"How does it feel to be 6?" He asks me.
"Feels great." I laugh
It was my day and everyone had to listen to me for the day and not complain. I was pretty happy with that. We played lots of games and Echo trained me some more. We were all on the floor in the mess hall drawing when I look out the window. Something caught my eye. I stood up and walked to the window.
"Hey Daddy? What's that?" I point out.
Daddy walks over to the window and everyone else followed.
"It's a ship." Raven gasped.
Everyone went into panic mode. Raven and Emori were trying to hail the ship but had no luck.
"It looks abandoned." Murphy spoke
"No it's not, look." I point out a small ship the was flying around in space and then down to Earth.
"Mabel go to your room." Daddy ordered me
"Why?" I ask
"We need to think."
I slowly walked to my room and sat there and waited.
It was about 20 minutes later that Daddy came and got me.
"What are we doing?" I ask
"We are docking onto the mothership."
He crouches down and looks at me.
"I need you to listen to me and do exactly as I say. This is no time to be silly. If we want to go back home you will listen to me." Daddy was serious and I wanted to go home so I agreed to his terms.
We placed on suits and got into the ship and began docking onto the mothership.
The door opened and we all climbed out. I had a tight hold on Daddy's hand still. I hadn't let go.
"Wow! This place is big." I gasp
"We need to find the bridge and work out what this ship is all about." Raven demands.

We found the bridge and everyone was looking for information.
"Well look what I found." Murphy laughs
"What?" I ask
He picks up a ball and throws it at me.
"Happy Birthday kid." He smirks
"Thanks." I kick it back to him.
We decided to kick it to each other until we got yelled at by Raven.
We decided to play with it in the hallway where could run. I was having so much fun when Daddy came and got me.
"Mabel you want to go home."
"Of course." I reply
"Then lets do that. We loaded more fuel enough for us to get to the ground." He tells me
"We're really going home." I whisper
"Let's go." I grab his hand and we get prepared to get inside the ship.
Raven and Murphy decided to stay on board the mothership for some reason so I hugged them goodbye. Emori was in charge of getting us to the ground safely. I sat in between Daddy and Echo holding there hands and closed my eyes tightly.

There was a slight jolt and then the engines cut. I slowly open my eyes, everyone was smiling at Emori.
"Are we home?" I ask
"Yes we are baby girl." Daddy takes off my suit. We climb out and the first thing I notice was the sky. It was dark and the stars were shining. I was on solid ground. I felt the grass crumple underneath my boots. It smelt fresh. It was wonderful.
"Hold it there." Someone yells in front of us. I see they had guns aimed at us.
"Daddy." I begin to cry.
"Shut up." One of them told me.
Daddy pulled me behind him.
I could hear Daddy negotiating and the  I hear gunshots. I scream but Daddy or my family weren't going down.
"Bellamy..........Clarke knew you would come." I poke my head out from behind Daddy. I was another girl and she was a little older than I was.
"Clarke's alive." I hear Daddy.
"Is my Mommy alive?" I walk out from behind Daddy and to the girl.
"Mabel?" She questions.
"Yeah, and who are you?" I ask getting closer to her.
"Madi."
We stare at each other for a moment then Madi looks back to Bellamy.
"She's in trouble. We have to help her." Madi announces. She grabs Bellamy's hand and she leads us all to a cave.

We sat down around a fire inside the cave. Everyone was quiet until I spoke.
"How do you know my name?"
"Clarke rescued me when I was six. She told me she had a little girl named Mabel. She told me stories about all of you." Madi explained.

I got told to stay here with Monty, Harper and Emori while Daddy, Echo and Madi went to rescue Mommy. I was pacing the cave.
"Hey they'll be back soon." Harper pipes up.
I went and sat next to her and explained to her why I was anxious.
"I haven't seen Mommy since I was a baby. Will she still love me, is she hurt, will she be proud of me?"
Harper grabs my hands and gently squeezes them.
"Your Mom loves you so much. She was always proud of you Mabel and she'll be so ecstatic to see you after all this time."
I give Harper a hug and find more wood for the fire.
I then lay down next to Emori and fall asleep.

"Mabel?" I hear someone whisper
I slowly open my eyes and I see Daddy above me.
"Wake up there's someone that wants to see you." I knew exactly what he meant. I sat bolt upright and then got to my feet. Then I see her in the shadows of the fire. Her short blonde hair slowly walking towards me.
I let out a small whimper and run straight towards her. She kneels down and I run into her arms. As soon as we embrace she picks me up.
"Mommy." I cry
"Is this real?" I add
I hear Mommy sniffle.
"Yes it is my darling. Happy Birthday." She replies.
