Mabels pov

I sat on my bed quietly looking down at my hands. I could feel the tears roll down my cheeks. Daddy told me Mommy was dead. The people of Sanctum took her. I only just got her back. I want to tell her how much I love her. I want her to kiss and cuddle me. I want her to calm me down when I have nightmares but she's not here anymore. I start sobbing again and cry into my pillow.
I hear a knock at my door.
"Mabel." I hear Daddy call out.
I look up from my pillow at him. He approaches my bed and picks me up for a hug.
"She loved you Mabel so much."
"Why did they kill her Daddy? Why her? What made her so important?" I sob loudly.
"Oh sweetheart. Mommy was special." He chokes out.
I hug Daddy for a long time until I'm overcome with sleep.

The following morning I wake up and I see Madi asleep in the other bed. I climb out of mine and carefully crawl in next to her.
"M...Mabel." She mumbles
She hugs me tighter and I fall asleep again.
I roll over some hours later and feel that Madi isn't there. I climb out of her bed and went to find Daddy. I find Daddy sitting at a table with Madi, Echo and the others in the bar lounge. They always hang out there. They didn't notice me and I could tell with their expressions on their faces it was a private conversation. I wanted to know what they were discussing so I quickly and quietly snuck up to them and hid behind a table and chairs next to theirs.
"We kill the one of the Primes. They'll think it'll be the Children of Gabriel and then while they are distracted we'll kill the rest." Madi spoke
"Madi I know you miss Clarke but we are not killing their people." Daddy replied
"Echo thinks it's a good idea, don't you spy." Madi looks at Echo.
"It could work." She replied.
"We are not killing anyone." Daddy demanded.
They all get out of their chairs and leave and go their separate ways. I stand up slowly and absorb what I just heard. Madi wants to kill the people in Sanctum. Who are the children of Gabriel? Why doesn't Daddy want to get revenge for them killing Mommy? I may be only six but I know a lot. If they aren't going to tell me I'll go and do my own investigating. I open the door and sneak out of the bar lounge. I begin walking to the castle when I hear a siren go off. People began running everywhere, even the guards were distracted. While everyone was distracted I opened the large doors to the entrance of the castle and snuck in. It was dark inside and my eyes were adjusting to being in the dark. As I could start to see I noticed skeletons all in rows with a pathway leading down the middle and a door at the other end. I tentatively took steps towards the door. It was quiet and dark. I was getting a little scared but I pushed through it. It felt as if the skeletons were all looking at me until I got to the next door. I opened the heavy door and walk in. It looked clean and it was brightly lit. Their was a operating table, medical equipment, benches, computers. I started looking through the computer and cupboards.
"Josie we need to keep you safe." I heard a distant voice speak.
I gasped and quickly found a cupboard to hide in.
"Dad I'm fine. They won't harm me especially that Bellamy guy because the thing inside me is his own flesh and blood." This woman with a chirpy voice spoke.
"Miranda was killed. With not many Primes left we must take certain actions to protect the bloodline." The man replied.
"So please lay down on the bed and let me see if that child that you are carrying is of royal blood." He added.
I could hear him walking around. He seemed to be looking for something. The cupboard door flies open and I'm caught.
"Well what do we have hear?" He smirks
"What is it Dad?" The girl on the table asked.
He drags me out of the cupboard and I'm standing beside him to scared to move. He held a tight grip on my wrist. I look over at the girl. It was Mom except something wasn't right.
"Mommy?" I question.
"Sorry kid, she's gone and I've taken over her body." She smiles.
"We should test her as well Dad." She states to Russell.
"Well true. Who knows we might have two more of the royal blood." He places me in the table and straps me down.
"No, no. Don't, stop please." I plead. Tears were starting to form in my eyes.
"Daddy." I scream.
I feel a pinch in the side of my neck and suddenly I can't move or speak but I was awake. These two people look over me and I see a knife. I don't feel anything but when he lifts the knife up next time I see red blood. I was stuck and no one could help me.
"Well she doesn't have it. Maybe better luck with the one inside of you Josie." He tells her.
What were they looking for. Is this why Madi wanted to kill them all. Josie said something about Daddy won't kill her because something was inside her. Was my Mommy having a baby? Everything starts to become blurry and then it goes black.
