My Own Enemy

Mabel's pov

My eyes slowly flutter open and I see him there laying his head on my bed.
"Daddy." I croak
His head shot up.
"Oh my sweetie." He leans in and kisses my forehead.
"Ow." I groan
"Sorry." He replies
"It hurts Daddy." I begin to cry
"I know and it probably will for a while." He looks at me. He wipes the tears away gently from my cheeks.
"How long have I been asleep for?" I ask
"About 2 days." He replies.
"Where's Octavia?" I ask my next question.
"Don't know, don't care to be honest. She did this to you." Daddy spoke
I didn't say anything. I was so tired and I wanted to go back to sleep.
"I'm so tired Daddy." I yawn
"Go back to sleep then. I'll be here when you wake up." He promised me.

I open my eyes again but I find that I'm not in a room. I'm in a tent. I look around me and I see Daddy with someone else and Madi.
"Daddy." I call out.
He walks over to me.
"Where are we?" I ask
"We're going home." He smiles
I slowly sit up but my head hurts so I lay back down.
"It's time Madi." Daddy explains to her.
"What is she doing?" I ask
"She's leading Wonkru to get the valley back." Daddy explains to me.
"You need to stay with Monty and Harper until it's safe." He adds
I wasn't in a position to argue and I just nodded.

I could hear the gunfire in the distance, hoping that no one I loved was hurt, it was hours until we got radio to follow. I had to walk even though how much my head hurt. I kept up with Harper making our way through the forest until we got to a clearing and there was a big ship. I could see Daddy and Mommy standing there waiting for us.
"Daddy." I yell. He runs up to me and picks me up.
"Quick go with your Mum, she's waiting at the the entrance of the ship."
"Wait what about you?" I ask
"I'm right behind you." He yells.
I run up to the ship and I see Mommy."
"Mabel." She opens her arms up to me and we hug. I stood beside Mommy, we were waiting for Daddy."
"Bellamy, C'mon we have to go." Mommy yells.
"Daddy run." I scream out.
I see something enter the Earth's atmosphere.
"Daddy." I scream louder.
I see Monty and Murphy run toward Daddy and the three of them races to the ship.
I watch Mommy shut the door and we start to fly off just before the bomb hit Earth. I walk through the corridor with Mommy and Daddy to find the others.
"What happened to your head?" Mommy asks me
"I got knocked out in the fighting pit. Daddy said their was blood everywhere." I explained.
"She was in the fighting pit." Mommy roared.
"You okay?" She asked me.
"I'm fine Mommy. All better." I smile
"Mabel you are your own worst enemy." Mommy sighed.
"I was just trying to save Daddy, someone had to." I replied.
There was silence between Mommy and Daddy. Something was wrong between the two of them.

Madi was the commander now, which meant she was in charge. She'd made the decision that we all go into cryosleep. I lay down in my bed and Mommy and Daddy say goodnight to me.
"How old will I be when I wake up?" I ask
"Still your crazy 6 year old self." Daddy replied
I smiled at him.
"I love you Daddy."
"I love you too my sweet girl." He kisses me on the forehead.
I look to my Mommy.
"Will you wake me up when its time."
"Of course." She smiles
"Love you Mommy."
"Love you Mabel."
My bed slides in and I fall asleep.
