Roman always wanted to be an actor. Wash away his unfourtant past by being a different person. He had the looks for it, had the talent, he just had to get the practice. So here he was Roman Prince, the best in his drama class, so when they needed an actor to be the prince in the play, Roman quickly volunteered. "Mr. Prince-" The teacher chuckled a bit at the name. "- will be playing the evil self observed prince."
Roman scoffed. "Excuse me sir, but I refuse. I wanted to play a prince, not a tyrant."
"Well, you should've said that earlier, we have nobody else who wants to be a prince." Roman frowned, crossing his arms as he was about to make a comment that would surely get him in trouble.
"Excuse me? Uh, Roman doesn't quite look like an evil prince, shouldn't an evil prince have a...edgier look? Like...snake tattoos? In other words I wouldn't mind being the prince." The quiet kid spoke up. He was one of the stage helpers, helped making the scene and such. Roman barely remember his name being...Dee?
The teacher nodded and Roman grinned like an idiot. "Roman you can be the knight then."
The rest of the class peiord Roman talked to the tattoo covered boy. "You're really quiet, I didn't even know you were in this class."
Dee chuckled. "I don't like the spot light, but uh you looked desperate." Roman nodded and he could tell by the look in the boys eyes that he had a crush on him, now Roman hated to lead him in but...he could help make sure Roman got the role he wanted.
A while later Roman looked down at his watch, gasping softly, "Oh! I was supposed to go get coffee, would you like to acoompany me?" He asked Dee as he got up. Dee nodded, following Roman out.
Later that evening Roman was sitting in his apartment, talking to Logan and Patton. "Oh that coffee shop boy-"
"Virgil!! My son!" Patton interrupted with a giggle.
"-Yes Virgil, is absolutly amazing! But I don't think he likes me back, and there's the boy in my class and he's cute, but... he's not Virgil." Roman complained.
"Why don't you ask Virgil on a date then?" Logan asked, raising an eyebrow at the dramatic boy.
"Well, I'm working up to that! But...I...what if he says no?"
"Then he says no, but I've seen your two interactions compared to ours, there's a difference, I think he likes you."
Patton nodded in agreeance. "He totally likes you!! So ask him!!"
Roman sighed. "Or, I could ask that Dee boy on a date and make him jealous!! Then he'll ask me and it will work perfectly!"
"That's a really stupid idea." Logan said.
"Of course it is! Now, it is getting quite late and a knight needs his beauty sleep, good night!" Roman stands up, going to his room.
Patton sighs, leaning onto Logan. "Hes so complicated, he could just ask who he likes on a date and then it's over with."
"Hes Roman, do you think it would be that simple?" Patton shakes his head and bites his lip for a second.
"hm, hey Logan, we should go see a movie together!" Logan froze.
"like...a date?" Patton nodded. "That would be enjoyable."
