romil felt a thick layer of tension between matt and jade so he asked the question everyone was wondering.
"so you guys know each other?"
matt just stared at jade, nodding. jade doing the same. matt felt like everyone was against him, even though they probably had no idea what jade had done to him just weeks prior.
"we were friends before we moved..."
matt sighed, rolling his eyes. he grew annoyed at jade's wording, deciding to correct her.
"no! we dated for like a year before you decided to fuck one of my best friends!"
matt's voice was deep, rough, and loud. it was like he was trying to assert dominance and he felt very strong in that moment. calling jade out was one of the best feelings in the world.
jade rolled her eyes before explaining that she was sorry for matts actions to the guys and that her and romil met at a party a bit ago, and started talking. matt felt uncomfortable with jade in the same room as him, once the shock and anger subsided.
matt grew overwhelmed as the group of boys, plus jade, stared at him. he felt uglier than he ever had. matt pushed passed dom and merlyn before walking out of romil's apartment. the group was silent before joba decided it was best to go after him.
