i sat with bella in the living room while everyone was already sleeping
it was 1 in the morning and all i've been doing is talking with bella about everything
"i know how stressed you are lucifer" she said snapping me out of my thoughts
"i'm not stressed lilith, it's just so confusing" i told her
she looked down at her stomach, i still can't believe she's pregnant
"non è stato facile" she sighed and i put my head back,
"cosa intendi?" i asked looking at her,
"matteo, after he was killed in that explosion at his house with his other 30 men it wasn't easy, angelo found me and took me and had me in a house there with some other mafiosos" she told me
"he told me about briyana and how your- how you have her and that you didn't want to give her back so to ruin things he sent valeria which has been in basilicata with that guy franco" she rolled her eyes at the sound of having to say lexi's name
i chuckled, "oh bella"
she looked at me, "i've missed you lucifer, especially our long talks since i didn't have anyone to talk to"
"your home now bella" i said, she gave me a small smile
"so what's with briyana" she looked at me and i shrugged "what do you mean"
she snickered, "you know what i mean, your not an idiota lucifer"
"there's nothing with her" i chuckled, she gave me a look and i sighed
"ok maybe there's something. ." i trailed off and she smiled
i licked my lips, "i just don't know bella, it's like i have feelings for her but at the same time it's like i feel more, it's different from what i felt from valeria"
"you didn't feel anything with valeria tho" her brows furrowed and i looked at her nodding
"yes i did bella, i felt something with her but it wasn't the same, i always had something for her i just never admitted it"
i sighed, "i lied to briyana yesterday on our way to the meeting, she asked me about valeria and i panicked and told her i never felt anything with her and that i only used her"
"she's probably worried now that valeria's here and that i'll probably go back to her or something" i told her
"would you?" she asked me and i looked at her, "no, never"
she nodded, "better not, i hate that puttana"
i chuckled shaking my head, she got up and sighed,
"i'm gonna go to sleep and maybe you should to" she said looking at me
i sighed, "i'll go to sleep now, i need to finish some work"
she nodded and walked off to stephens room, i got up and walked in the kitchen
i looked in the cabinets and found a bag of red velvet chocolates, i grabbed them and opened it
i thought for a second, should i? no. . i mean it wouldn't be bad but what if i'm being too cheesy
i sighed and went upstairs, i walked to her door and slowly opened it
she was laying on her bed watching tom and jerry on the tv
"hey" she said as i walked in
i closed the door and she sat up, i looked around and bailey wasn't in her crib
"where's bailey?" i asked, "with sophia, they were playing around and i guess they fell asleep"
i nodded and sat down on her bed, i looked at her and she was looking at the tv
i grabbed the controller and turned it off, she looked at me "hey that was getting good"
i snickered, "you can watch that anytime, i wanna show you something"
i got up and grabbed her hand pulling her up, i walked out to her balcony and grabbed the ladder
"come on" i climbed up and so did she, we sat down by the middle and i put the bag of chocolates on her lap
she smiled, "i was literally craving these"
i nodded and looked up, it was so quiet and calming that the only noise was crickets chirping
she handed me one and i grabbed it opening it, "mi amore"
"hm" she answered and i looked at her, her hair was down, and she was wearing sweatpants with a hoodie
she looked adorable
she looked at me and smiled, "what?"
"your beautiful" i said and she snickered, "i'm really not but thanks"
i chuckled, "why don't you just listen to me when i tell you bc if not i'm telling you everyday"
she looked at me, "you won't"
i raised a brow, "oh but i will"
"whatever you say" she said popping a chocolate in her mouth
"i got this really good red velvet chocolate at the supermarket but valeria took a bite and threw it out like if it still wasn't good" she groaned
i remembered how annoyed she looked when valeria threw it out making me chuckle
"you can get more" i reminded her and she frowned, "i know but i got it for you bc i remembered you eating it once and saying it was really good"
i got a weird feeling when she said that, not a bad feeling but a good one that made a smile appear on my face
i sat behind her and pulled her back to lay on me, i kissed her cheek and wrapped my arms around her waist
"i care about you mi amore, and i know i may not show it but i do, you mean something to me and i won't let anything ever happen to you" i told her and she turned her head to look at me
i licked my lips, "i know i'm difficult understanding but it's just that i've-" she cut me off by smashing her lips on mine
i put my hand on her jaw slowly pulling away, i opened my eyes to look at her
"what was that for?" i smiled, she bit her lip and shrugged "i wanted to kiss you"
i smirked and smashed my lips on hers
