joey +
we got to the hotel and lexi left to go get food, said she was hungry, like always
i took out the suitcase and opened it looking at the 1 million dollars in cash laying neatly in it
there was a knock on my door and i opened it, "come in"
stephen walked in and looked at me, "when are we doing it?" he asked
"tonight, i want to get this over with and go back home by tomorrow evening" i told him and he nodded
"is it gonna be hard for you?" he asked and i looked at him "no, it won't"
he nodded, "if you can't do it-" i cut him off "stephano"
"ok" he left the room, i sat down on the bed and ran my hand through my hair
i feel stressed and my head hurts, i need a drink
i got up and opened the mini fridge that was sitting at the corner, it had bottles of sparkling water and small bottles of bourbon
i groaned and closed it, lexi walked in the room holding a cup of iced coffee in her hand
"i'm back" she smiled and walked up to me, she leaned in to kiss me but i backed away
she raised a brow and leaned in again, she smashed her lips against mine and pulled me closer
she let go and looked at me, "come on, is it really so bad?" she smirked
i examined her face before smashing my lips against hers, i can feel her smirk against my lips
she let out a small moan, i heard the door open and let go of her
stephan stood at the door and cleared his throat, "we're leaving in 15" he said before walking out
lexi let go and walked off to the bathroom and i heard the shower run
i ran my hand through my hair, dammit

i finished making the chicken and served it on a plate with rice and beans
i already fed bailey and she's sleeping now, i'm hoping she sleeps for the rest of the time being since she didn't really sleep much last night
"hey" sophia sat down in front of me, "hey" i said taking a spoonful of the food in my mouth
"i heard from stephan" i looked at her, "what'd he say?" i asked
"he said there doing the mission tonight since joey wants to get back by tomorrow" i nodded
there was a silence between us, but it was a comfortable silence
"you think this would be hard on joey? the mission?" i broke the silence
she shrugged, "joey's a quiet person so i don't know, he has a liking for kids that's for sure"
i chuckled, "bailey has real liking for him"
she nodded, "i never figured joey to be a baby type person, he usually doesn't care about anyone, baby or not, he treats everyone the same"
"he's different- well somewhat different" she said making me laugh
i looked at her, "how's things with madison?" i asked
"good, she's been a little distant but i'm not worried, i'll give her space" she took a sip of her water
"you guys are too cute" i raised a brow at her and she smiled "yeah"
"it's probably gonna be a little more difficult once i go back to venice" she sighed and my brows furrowed
"venice?" i asked and she looked up at me realizing what she said "i- yeah"
she noticed my confusion, "originally i live in venice and i came down here for business and to visit my brother of course and i didn't expect to stay here this long"
"why are you going back to venice for? why can't you just stay here?" i asked, i'm upset that she didn't tell me about this
"i don't know if i'm gonna leave for sure, i just wanna go and visit for a bit," she told me
"when would you go?" i asked, "not sure but soon, maybe after the dinner"
i nodded, "will you at least let me know?"
she nodded, "of course"
knock knock
"i'll get it" i sighed and walked to the door, i opened it and it was manu
my eyes widened and i went to scream but he quickly placed a towel on my face and that's when everything went black
