we had finally landed and joey wouldn't budge of letting go of the baby
i wanted to ask him who the baby was bc for a fact joey isn't a baby person
the whole ride to the plane and back here to italy was silence, pure silence
we didn't exchange words since the car from when we left the club
we got in the car and i looked at stephen who kept looking at the baby then back at joey
i can tell he knew something
"who's the bambino" i whispered and he looked at me
"briyana's little sister bailey, they sold her today" he answered
my heart dropped, angelo sold a baby? his own daughter?
but why would joey wanna rescue a baby?
he doesn't have a heart
i wanted to talk to him but he was being a cagna at the moment so i didn't bother
i laid my head on stephen's shoulder and sighed
today was so stressful
i just wanted to get in bed and go to sleep already, it made me wanna puke remembering when benito called me beautiful
he was trying so hard to look hot but failed, miserably
imagine what they would've done to the baby, grow her up in a toxic household and do who knows what to her
i looked at the baby who slept peacefully on joeys chest, i felt like crying thinking of what they'd do to her
so precious and tiny
i looked upfront and realized we reached the house, we got out the car and walked to the front door
the sun started rising already, we unlocked the front door and everyone went to their rooms in a hurry
joey was last to close the door leaving me and him alone, "joey" i said
he looked at me, "sophia i'm not in the mood, i want to go to sleep" he bluntly said
"what are you gonna do about the baby" i looked at the baby
he looked down at her then back at me, "are you gonna tell her" i crossed my arms
he sighed and left to his room
i wanted to slap him for not answering me, he does this so many times i can't put up with it

"wakey wakey!" someone shouted opening all the blinds in my room
i groaned, i looked and it was stephen making me smile
i got up and hugged him making him laugh
"morning to you too" he said
"i missed you" i said and let go, i looked at him and he had a small cut on his face
"hey where did you get that" i said looking at it, "it's nothing, just got cut"
i nodded and i heard a baby crying making my brows furrow, "is that a baby?"
i hurried downstairs and everyone was in the living room, they were all quiet
"where is that crying coming from?" i asked
the crying stopped, sophia walked out of her room and she ran up to me once she saw me
i smiled and hugged her back, "i missed you" she tightened her arms around me
"i missed you too" i breathed out, she let go and looked at me
"good" she kissed my cheek and walked into the kitchen
i shook my head and laughed
i said hi to everyone else and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge
i saw joey walk into the kitchen making me roll my eyes until i saw a baby in his arms
i recognized the baby, "who is that?" i asked
he looked up at me, he turned and it was bailey
i ran up to him and grabbed her kissing her cheek repeatedly, i felt my eyes watering
"hi baby" i looked at her, she let out a small laugh
i smiled and looked up at them, "who's the one that got her"
"stephen" joey said
i looked at stephen and walked up to him, "thank you so much" i hugged him
i let go and all he did was smile
i looked back to where joey was and he was gone
