i woke up to a loud bang making me groan, i sat up and fixed my hair putting it into a ponytail
i had fallen asleep on the couch after watching a movie with everyone
joey had fallen asleep when we got back from the meeting so he didn't watch the movie with us
i stood up and rubbed my eyes before turning around
i jumped when i saw everyone, sophia was holding a cupcake with a candle on top
"happy birthday" she smiled making me chuckle, "thank you soph" i smiled
i made a small wish and blew it out, everyone gave me a hug and said happy birthday
i looked and realized joey wasn't in sight
"how does it feel being 18" sophia asked as we sat down in the table with everyone else
"i feel the same, i don't really wanna do anything tho" i shrugged
sophia chuckled, "your funny, we have plans for later tonight and everyone's going"
i sighed, i truly wasn't in the mood to party or even do anything
"how did you even know it was my birthday?" i asked
"we had to do some research on you when you were kidnapped and we saw that your birthday was right there" she answered and i nodded
"buon compleanno mia cara" alba walked up to me and gave me a small hug
"thank you alba" i smiled and she walked back into the kitchen
i'm surprised the chefs are back, sophia told me joey doesn't like having them here but she likes them bc if anyone's hungry there's food that's already made
they placed the food on the table and everyone started grabbing stuff and placing it on their plate
i placed two pancakes and 3 sausages, sophia looked at me and chuckled
"what?" i asked looking at my plate then at her
"nothing, it's just that you won't be needing those since tonight your gonna get the real deal" she chuckled
"que cosa real deal? the only real deal is that she won't be going anywhere tonight" joey's voice echoed making everyone go quiet
i looked up and he was carrying bailey who was playing with his chain
sophia scoffed, "she is going, she's gonna have fun, and she will get laid"
i can see joeys jaw clench at the end, "i'm going either way"
i can see sophia roll her eyes, "nobody invited you"
"i can go if i want who are you to tell me i can't go" he walked up to the table
"i'm the one who made the plans so if i don't want you to go-" i cut sophia off annoyed by their dumb argument
