i walked into my room and shut the door locking it
i let out a breath i didn't know i had been holding making the tightness in my chest go away
his eyes were filled with such confusion and a lace of anger when i snapped at him
i felt bad but seeing lexi touching his arm after hearing about them kissing in milan
i thought we actually had something, i thought he really did feel something
how could i be so stupid to think somebody like him could like someone like me?
i felt my eyes starting to sting as tears threatened to come out
i sighed and closed my eyes leaning my head back on the door
"you need to get over him, he's not good for you" my subconscious told me
i just want to go home, but not with my mom or my dad, just me and bailey
i want to get away from all this and just feel like myself again, my heads pounding
i look at bailey and she had her head laying on my chest, "hai sonno?" i whispered and she nodded
i laid her in my bed and noticed she already had her little nightwear on already
i changed into a pair of shorts and sweatshirt, she finished her bottle and i put it on my nightstand
i turned off the lights and got in bed pulling her little body close to mine, "buonanotte"

"what was her deal?" lexi scoffed as everyone sat in the living room
i had my arms crossed leaning my head back on the chair with my eyes closed, thinking
"maybe she's just tired" sophia said
why did she snap at me like that? all i wanted to do was see if she was ok and she just shut me out
my hands clenched into fists, manu had to of told her something, shit
maybe i should go talk to her? no. she's upset and tired, i'll just talk to her about another time
her eyes were glossy when mines met her's, i just wanted to grab her and hold her and not let go but i couldn't
"lexi why don't you go to sleep already" i heard stephen groan, "not tired"
her voice had been giving me a headache and after everything that happened today i couldn't put up with anything else
everyone was already annoyed by her and it doesn't take many to notice
"i'm bored" she said, "lucifer"
i opened my eyes and looked at her, "valeria chiudi quella cazzo di bocca" i gritted at her
"your hot when your mad" she bit her lip making my jaw clench
i got up and grabbed my gun from the table walking back to her
i aimed it at her leg and allowed the familiar sound to ring throughout the house
she screamed in pain, "i told you to shut the fuck up"
she looked at me, "vaffanculo"
i rolled my eyes and that's when bailey's cries ran throughout the house
i dropped my gun on the floor going upstairs, i walked towards briyana's door hearing her trying to calm bailey
i walked in and she looked at me, "get out"
my jaw clenched, "let me" i looked at bailey
she looked down at bailey who kept crying, she slowly laid bailey in my arms
"va bene" i whispered rocking her and she slowly stopped crying
i looked up at briyana and she was just staring, "can we talk?" i asked and she licked her lips
"about what" she crossed her arms, "how did you get out"
she looked down, "they let me out"
i scoffed, "manu had to have done something or told you something in order for you to be out"
she stared at me a little bit longer as if she was trying to read me
she opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out, she let out a breath
"who did you shoot" she asked, i stayed silent for a second "lexi"
her brow raised, "that's confusing but also pleasing to know"
"how is it confusing?" i asked, what's so confusing about me shooting her leg? she can really get on someone's last nerve
"considering you guys kissed" she said and i felt my jaw clench
"or did you not?" she studied my face searching for a reaction
i looked down at bailey, "it didn't mean anything"
and i wasn't lying, even though i was the one to kiss her i didn't feel anything towards the kiss but she did and that's all i wanted
she had given me a bunch of information from the mafias i was after just from that kiss
i only need lexi to believe this act i'm pulling with her just so she can give me the last piece of information i need and that's it
after she gives me that i'll either kill her or kick her out of the house, i won't care about her after that
i looked at briyana and she was ripping something off from the back of her ear
she groaned and put it on the floor stomping on it, the piece broke showing the wires and she grabbed it throwing it into the trash
"manu wanted me to be a spy for him, steal information from you so he could use it and destroy you" she told me
i nodded, "but that kiss-" i cut her off "it meant nothing mi amore i swear, i just needed her to believe me"
she looked down licking her lips, "i'm just gonna need some time to think joey"
i handed her bailey, "that's fine" i said and she nodded
i walked out and went back downstairs picking up my gun and shooting lexi's other leg
