Publishing a day early. I wrote this one by myself because of the contents. But I do need you guys for the next one.

Whatever it takes.

I felt Kira grab my hand with a tight grip to make sure she didn't let go. My eyes are closed so I can't see her, but I know it's her. I could almost hear the sizzle from when our hands touched. I couldn't imagine being that cold all the time. If I didn't know her, I would think she was a dead girl walking...

I felt a surge of energy go through my body and I brace myself. I remember that Jason said I would feel something, but I didn't think of this. It felt like electricity. Then I felt something else.

My stomach drop.

I open my eyes to see... clouds. We're falling. From the sky.

"Oops..." I heard Jason's voice over the wind filling my ears. "Oop? OOP?!" I said out loud, louder than I thought. "I had the vision, but I saw the sky right before I teleported," he explained. "Max," I heard Kira say next to me. She was looking down. I followed her gaze to see a lake below us. "Is it deep enough," I ask. I never thought I would ask that kind of question in a situation like this, but then again, I've never been a situation like this.

"It should be," Jason said, preparing for impact. I do the same.

This is going to hurt...

We hit the water. The lake is deeper than I thought it was, still going down as we became stationary. It's really dark because of the sky but other than that, I can tell how clear this lake is. I feel the heat I'm producing and realize I should probably start swimming up. I think I kicked someone arm which was likely since we didn't think to spread out as we were falling. I couldn't check because I was running out of breath.

I break the surface. I could see everyone in the moonlight. Well, almost everyone. Kira and Scarlet are missing, and I start to worry. It's been a while since we actually got in the water.

Just as that thought crossed my mind, someone came up behind me. I turned to see Kira and I start to relax. "Hey, you okay," I ask her. She nods her head, calmly catching her breath. "Yeah, I'm fine. But I think my arm's scratched pretty bad. It must have hit something." Guilt started to flood in. "I didn't mean to kick you. I couldn't really see. I'm sorry Kira," I said, kind of softly. She opened her mouth to answer but then Scarlet came up from the water.

"What's wrong with you? What took you so long," I asked her. "We were getting worried," Jason quickly adds. "Well, I'm sorry. It was just so calming," she answers like it was nothing and I send her a glare. "That and I technically didn't need to come up in the first place," she adds. I see confusion in everyone's face but then Kira's eyes light up.

"That's so cool Scarlet! I wish I could breathe underwater..." she trailed off, realizing how childish she sounded. I shook my head as a smile formed on my face. But it makes sense. The water elemental breathes under water. "Guys we should get out. It's night and it's cold," Maya says as she swims to land. Liam trails behind her and we follow suit.

"Where are we exactly," Scarlet asked once we got out the water. "Zambia, Africa," Jason states drily. "Oh okay," I said, starting to heat up to dry myself off.
...
I do a double take.

"¡¡¡Qué!!!" Our spanish class has taken quite a toll on us (not in a bad way) and I let it slip. "Did you just say Africa," Scarlet asks in disbelief. "When you said that you had a place, I didn't think that this is what you meant," Liam said from behind me, "We're like six hours ahead from where we were." It was about four o'clock when we left. It's really late and I suddenly yawn. I can't be tired, right?
