Sorry, guys. I'm soooooooo changeable.
Basically, I had to rewrite the whole thing because it didn't sound right the first time. So hopefully, it makes more sense now.

I wonder how many hours is a couple.
It hasn't been long since Liam came and took Maya. It would've been nice to know when they were coming back though. At least I wouldn't be on edge.
I turned back to Kira. She seems to be doing fine even though she's not awake. I forgot that we had our bracelets on when we woke up and I forgot to take her's off when I got her out. But she's cold to the touch now, so I think she'll be okay.
My eyes aren't back to normal. It was cool at first, but now I'm worried that something's wrong. I feel calm enough and there really is no such thing as too much water for me so I don't know what it could be.
"Scarlet?" I turned to see Kira sitting upright. "Hey," I walked over to her with some water, "How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine," she said dismissively, taking the cup from my hand. "That's a pretty vague description from someone who has been out for two days," I said and she almost choked. "You're kidding, right," she asked and I shook my head. "Alex said it was because your body was cooler when you were asleep. It made sense, but I was still worried," I said. Then, I brought her into a hug. I guess it surprised her, but she quickly returned it. A little tighter than I did. "So, what's exactly going on," she asked and I let go.
I told her everything I could. If anything, I'm as in the dark as she is. So we can't do anything but wait till something happens.
I asked her how her ice was doing, realizing that I didn't really test her since she's been up. And at first, everything seemed fine until her eyes changed color. It wasn't just that either.
They looked icy in a way, and no, probably not because she is ice. I can't put my finger on it right now. But at least I'm not alone, and that could be a good or bad thing.
We just sat there for a while and made small talk. As I've mentioned before, we don't know what's going on so we can't do anything.
That's until the door swung open. We both jumped to our feet as a guard walked in. There was something off about him though. He seemed stiff like he was fighting to come in here. "She said let's go." was all he said.
"Who's she," Kira asked him. He didn't answer. Instead, he quickly reached for his belt. His hands stopped mid-way and he yelped in pain. "Maya. And the others," he said through his teeth. I walked up to him, his hand still in the same place they stopped. I grab the radio he was reaching for off his belt and read the name. Mitch. I put the radio on my belt loop.
"Let's go then, Mitch," I said and he leads the way out.
We go down so many hallways it's like a maze. We've avoided detection so far though. Liam and Maya must know what they're doing. Clearly, this is their doing because Mitch clearly doesn't.
We turned a corner to a dead end. It looks like there's supposed to be a door there, but the wall just goes in. "Are we supposed to be here," I asked him. "I'm sorry. I just made a wrong turn," he said, turning around to go the other way. We moved out the way since we were behind him and he went through.
Then he launched at me. I moved out the way and Kira quickly jumped on his back. "Keep trying things like that and watch what happens," she said with one hand covering his mouth while the other had an icicle pointed at his neck. I sat there, surprised. Kira sends off a different aura when she's upset or violent. It's a side you rarely see.
