"No, please stop!!" You hollered as goblins tore your clothing from your battered form. "LET GO OF ME!"
Despite your agonizing pleads, the little green creatures gave no signs of letting you free.

One goblin scout drew a dagger from its torso and sliced into your thigh, causing you to scream in horrendous pain. "MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP!!!"

Soon your ears began to ring. You watched the goblins surrounding your nude body cackle in delight at your suffering. Your tears started to stain what was left of your vision.

This was it. This was your tragic ending. You sobbed wildly as the goblins mauled you bit-by-bit. You never even had the chance to tell your loved ones goodbye. How would Goblin Slayer react once he found out you were dead? Would you even see him in the next world?

You felt a thick crunch beneath your knee, allowing you to to release another bloodcurdling shriek. "Please...someone-anyone...help me," you choked out. "Help...me."

Your eyelids flickered open without haste. It was a dream you had; worse than a dream.

You clutched the soft fabric of your gown as stifled tears leaked from your hazy e/c orbs. You flinched to a sudden loud struck of thunder. It must have been storming outside.

You inhaled rickety breaths as another episode of thunder roared across the sky. Your mind was sedated heavily with paranoia with each foreign sound that met your ears.

Without another delaying thought, you immediately reached for your cloak and searched for a lantern. There was no way you could be alone right now; not for another moment.
As soon as you opened the door leading outside, a powerful gust of wind knocked you unsteady. This was going to be quite a challenge, but at the moment you honestly didn't give a damn.

You huddled your body against the storm as you trudged along what you believed to be the correct path. Thank goodness you lived a short distance away.

It wasn't too long until you'd finally reached a pair of sturdy wooden steps. You slowly placed your footing along the steps, careful not to lose your balance. The only obstacle left for you was the door awaiting you underneath the dry awning.

You stood there for a moment with your knuckles gently resting against it's hard surface. You had a compelling urge to turn around and run back from where you came, however you couldn't abandon your original intentions.

You eventually made a final decision and began to knock. It wasn't too soft, yet it wasn't loud enough to wake the entire household. You knew he was awake judging from the glow of the upstairs window. 'I think he mentioned having trouble sleeping during thunderstorms once...'

You waited for a moment until movement could be heard from inside. The door was then unlocked before creaking ajar. You felt your heart begin to pound against your chest. You didn't dare to look at anything other than the flooring below you.

"Y/n? What are you doing here? The sun hasn't even risen yet," you heard Goblin Slayer call. You couldn't blame the worried tone hidden in his voice. You were sopping wet, all the while you were shivering out of anxiety and the cold.
