"How can one human being be so flawlessly perfect?" you murmured as you stared at Goblin Slayer in a heavy daze. As always, you were seated at your usual table inside the Guild Hall with your sketchbook secured tightly in your arms.

You always brought it with you so you could draw Goblin Slayer; its mixed media pages were filled with little doodles of him. Gorgeous bastard.

Most would think you were apart of the guild since, you know, you were in the building everyday, same place. However, you had never imagined yourself as the type to play hero, so you happy remained a normal civilian of this peaceful town. To be honest, the only true reason you came to the Guild Hall everyday was because of him. The man clad in rusted armor.

You remembered it as if it were days ago. Years in the past, you ran into town like a madwoman and begged every adventurer you came into contact with to save your farm from goblins that were stealing from your precious land. Alas, no one helped you. The assholes simply noted that paying in crops wasn't enough.

But that very evening, Goblin Slayer showed up at your doorstep, asking where the filthy pests were. It took the man mere minutes to wipe them all out. When you explained to him that you were unable to give him a proper payment, he told you that preparing him a nice meal would be splendid. Ever since that day, you always felt like you were in debt to him.

You hummed sweetly at the memory. You soon realized that you had set your pencil down and resumed working on your sketch in silence.

Suddenly, your treasures were snatched by the hands of the—of the...hold on what was that guy's name? The jackass with the spear? Ah, whatever. In a panic, you reached for it, missed, and tore through the pages.

Your drawings showered onto the ground for everyone to see. "Whoa! This girl's a stalker," the spear guy taunted as he bent down to observe each of them. Well, this was it. Your entire privacy was just exposed to the public. You began to internally hyperventilate.

If you thought that was bad, listen to this. Goblin Slayer was standing among the growing crowd. "Yo, Goblin Slayer. Get a load of this!" aaaaaAAaaaAAAAHAHAHSSHAHAI. "Please don't," you begged under your breath, though no one heard your plea. Your surroundings began to fade gradually, and all that remained was the ringing of your ears.

The amused chattering of of adventurers was reduced to background noise as the redhead handed him your artwork. You felt the sudden urge to vomit. Your breathing grew ragged. What would he say? How the hell would he—

Your scattered thoughts were interrupted once you finally heard his smooth, clear voice. "I'd give those back, if I were you." He grimaced at Goblin Slayer's threatening response. "Come on, we're just having some fun. Plus, if she really wanted these scribbles back, she'd say so!"

There was a series of laughter and snarky remarks from the crowd. Your body stiffened at his phrase for your art. Goblin Slayer also didn't appreciate the smug bastard's comment. Spear Guy then waltzed over to you and held up one of your action drawings of him. "So what are ya, huh? Some sorta creep?"

Somehow, his words really got to you. Because that's when the tears started flowing. This was absolutely humiliating! First your damn drawings were practically stolen from you and now you were in the midst of a meltdown in front of everyone.
Unable to contain himself, Goblin Slayer marched over to Spear Guy and struck him in the eye. However, you weren't able to see it happen because you were already out the door.
