III. Ultraviolence

IT has been a month since Clara started working at Castle, and she must admit, it has been a good month for her. Sa loob ng isang buwan, napataas na niya ang sales ng tatlong subsidiaries ng Castle dahil sa maayos na pag-manage niya ng branding ng mga ito.

Kung tutuusin, hindi lang naman siya ang nagtatrabaho. Clara was thankful of her entire team, especially Calvin, dahil kung hindi dahil sa kanila ay mahihirapan siyang mapatunayan na kaya niyang makipagsabayan sa galing ng ibang managers. Calvin really helped her in all aspects: the guy even acted as her mentor in the company that's why she is grateful towards Calvin.

Calvin was also there to help her not to lash out at their boss, Wild Kean Castillo. Simula nung unang engkwentro nila sa board meeting, hindi na sila nagkasundo. They had contrasting ideas and opposite opinions about certain decisions concerning the company. Clara definitely hated the guy, no doubt. Naiinis talaga siya rito dahil hindi nito kino-consider ang suggestions niya kadalasan. Tulad na lang ngayon, nagde-debate na naman sila sa meeting nila ni Calvin kasama si Wild.

"You know, Mr. Castillo, I don't know what the hell is wrong with you. Bakit ba ayaw mong i-consider 'yung branding strategies na pino-propose namin for Flora?" Clara frankly said. Flora, their new branding project, is Castle's swimwear brand exclusively for their female customers. Wild gave them a week to create a brand proposal for Flora dahil hindi masyadong bumebenta ang mga swimwear items nito. It was being sold in all department stores but unfortunately, hindi ito masyadong binibili.

Clara proposed to lower the prices down dahil may kamahalan ang swimwears nila. Together with her team, they also made new logos and published materials for Flora to have a new way of advertisement. Pati theme ng photoshoots, naplano na rin. Maayos na pinlano nila Clara ang proposal na ito kaya naiinis siya kay Wild dahil ayaw nitong tanggapin ang proposal nila.

"Ms. Montenegro, I know what's best for my company and I don't think that's the best thing you can offer," sagot ng lalaki. Lalong nanggalaiti si Clara sa bwisit na boss niya. The guy even had the audacity to show a smirk at her! The nerve of this guy?!

"Mr. Castillo, this is a female brand and this proposal was made by opinions we gathered from female customers. I don't think you know what's best for your company," Clara explained. "Ito ang gusto ng masa, so why won't we give it to them?"

"Kung bababaan ang presyo ng swimwears, then it won't be a high-end brand anymore. Is that what you want, Clara?" Wild taunted. Clara kept an expressionless face but deep inside, she felt uneasy when Wild said her name. It felt so good in her ears, but she just ignored it.

"Nasa presyo lang ba ang basehan para masabing high-end ang brand mo, Mr. Castillo?" dagdag pa ni Clara.

WILD looked at her intently. Ramdam na ramdam ng lalaki ang gigil at galit ni Clara sa kanya. Paano ba naman kasi, lagi niya itong kinokontra at kinukwestyon. Wild really enjoys seeing her fuming mad. To be honest, hindi naman talaga niya kukwestyunin ang mga suhestyon nito. Actually, her ideas and proposals are brilliant, magaling talaga ang dalaga. But Wild just simply wants to see her irritated and mad at him. Wild had taken a keen interest at Clara ever since he saw her at the restaurant and when he interviewed her. Kakaiba talaga ang dalaga para sa kanya. Dagdag pa rito, Wild likes her beauty and sexiness, which ooze more whenever Clara is mad or pissed.

"You know, this is taking too much of our time. Right, Calvin?" Wild asked the other person in the room. Nakikinig at nanunuod lang ito sa bangayan nilang dalawa ni Clara. Calvin just looked at him then at Clara, and then shrugged. Paniguradong ayaw nitong sumagot dahil malalagot ito kay Clara. Alam niyang kakampi ito ng dalaga at close na close nga ang dalawa. Their closeness pisses Wild off kaya lalo niyang iniinis si Clara.
