CHAPTER FIFTEEN: GETTING CLOSER

All the two of you wanted was a peaceful breakfast. But no, that just had to be spoiled too. Just a peaceful morning with the two of you, goofing off like you normally did, nearly burning down the kitchen together like you did on the regular. But no, instead you were here holding each other, unsure of what to do now. Here you were, holding a worried Jisoo with a look of fear and worry in his eyes.
He was being labeled as a missing person now.
Joshua's name, age, personal yet basic information was revealed to the public and pictures were being released on him being seen. Not only that, but those pictures contained the two of you together. A picture of you walking, sharing skin ship, or hiding in general. You were being labeled as a kidnapper, but you were lucky enough to not have any personal information being released or clear pictures of your appearance due to the pictures being low quality.
And the fact that Joshua was from a wealthy family had not helped at all, because they offered a reward.
A reward of nearly 12 million won.
With that itself there was no doubt that people would be out trying to hopefully find him. No way Joshua could find himself a job to fulfill his wishes of giving his part in repayment of you helping him. Were the two of you even safe now? Maybe? No?
"What do we do? I don't think I can even leave the house at this point." Joshua spoke up, leaning his head on your should, his voice speaking in a monotone. "I don't know, to be honest, other than staying in for a couple of days. Any ideas?"
"God, I'm so stupid.." He let out a irritated sigh. "I should've never left, now look at where it's gotten us. I should've just stayed, and just marry that bitch, and stick with the family business." His tone began getting harsher on himself, showing obvious disappointment. And you grabbed him by the shoulders, causing him to put his head up and look at you. He had a lachrymose look in his eyes, and it had nearly tore you to pieces.
"Don't say that, you did the right thing, Jisoo." You reassured him and held his hand. "Remember that your happiness is what matters, and that lifestyle was not something you were happy with." A tear managed to escape his eye, and you were quick to catch and softly wiped it away. "So listen to me when I say this, you belong here not in a business company where you're wedded to a woman you don't even love, a career you don't love." You said firmly.
