we were coming back from the café. you were holding my hand in yours while jungkook was walking beside you. you were talking with him while i was somewhere in my own world.

the birds were chirping, their chirps sounding like a melody. i hummed allong with them. 'pretty day, huh' you said. i just hummed.

'look, i'm really sorry i was a dick to you.'

i smiled reassuringly.

'don't worry yoongi, i already forgot about it' you raised an eyebrow but i just nodded at you, trying to reassure you even more.

'um guys, can you not?' jungkook said. we laughed at him.

'i mean you are cute, but please be cute somewhere else'

you rolled your brown eyes.

'you're just jealous you're not my favorite anymore' jungkook scoffed.

'i'm sorry to disappoint you, but i'm not jealous at all' he said, crossing his arms over his chest.

you pulled the both of us into a side hug, laughing.

'i couldn't be happier right now'

after we parted ways, i made my way to school. i had even more than enough time, but i just did not want to go home. i sat in the empty cafeteria, enjoying every single moment of the silence.

to my (un)luck it didn't last that long. student by student came into the cafeteria making it now a crowded place, too crowded for my liking.

i was ready to leave when a voice called out for me. 'sun! um songul!' i turned around to see the brown haired boy, hoseok, running up to me. 'i'm glad i saw you!' he said full of enthusiasm. 'anyways, you want to eat here?' i nodded

'okay, i'll be right back, i'll bring us some snacks' and with that he jumped off to get us some food.

'so why are you this early?'

'i could ask you the same question' i said while smiling.

'i was with my boy-... um with my friends. i really didn't want to go home so i just came here.' he nodded at me. 'i wanted to visit my friend, he said he and some girl needed some food but when i came over to the apartment there wasn't even anyone at home'

i suddenly remembered the boy that was supposed to bring me and jungkook some food. i felt bad, he had probably arrived bit we weren't there, but i brushed it off.

'anyways, what are your plans for today?'

'um, not that i had anything planned to be honest with you' i chuckled 'i mean, after i'm done with school i'm going to go home'

'oh i though-' he was interupted by a yelling that was filling the whole cafeteria.

'noona!' i looked to my right to see that the source of the voice was jungkook.

'jesus jungkook did something happen?' i asked him full of worry. 'did something happen to yoongi?' he laughed at me. 'why are you laughing idiot?' he just scoffed while laughing.

'oh hi hobi hyung! i didn't know you and songul noona were friends?'

'i didn't know you and songul were friends?' hoseok asked, looking from me to him.

i just sighed. 'and noona to answer your question, no nothing happened to yoongi. he's in the back he will be coming soon' he said. i sighed in relief

'yoongi, as in min yoongi?' hoseok butted in.

'geez, haven't seen him in ages' jungkook's body vividly tensed.

'not the time hyung' he whispered to him.

my eyes wandered in between the both of them, but i remained silent.

'hello dipshits' i turned around to see taehyung standing next to our table. 'what are you doing here?' i asked him rudely, maybe i bit too rudely. 'hi taehyung' hoseok and jungkook said in unision. he sat next to me, smiling like a dork.

'so i'm going to talk with you since sun doesn't want to talk t-' he said eyeing me. 'it's songul for you' i corrected him. 'geez' i hear jungkook say. 'what's up you two?' hoseok asked the two of us. 'like it's important anyways' i said. closing the topic instantly. 'anyways, as i was saying, how have you been you two losers?'

and then they went on a long ass talk how they have been. but for some reason it felt like in their stories there were so many holes. but i didn't bother butting in and making the uncomfortable.

the cafeteria door opened and they revealed you standing with three unfamiliar boys behind your back.

'what is happening?' i asked them. 'i don't know' taehyung whispered 'but i sure as hell know that my family is together again'
