i woke up to loud noises.
you're a fucking brat jungkook! that's what you are.
i stood up from the bed to hear what was happening. i leaned on the door, trying to recognize the voices. they were mumbled and mushed but i was still able to hear them.
what did i ever d-do to you? why do you hate me so much?
i could hear jungkook's voice clearly as it broke. my heart shattered into pieces.
you came into our lives, that's why i hate you!
the other voice was strong yet feminine. what if it was his foster mother? i jumped at the thought of her hurting him so i instantly opened the door, now being revealed to the young boy and his foster mother. she glared at me, her stare boring right into my head.
'who the hell are you?!' she yelled at me. her voice was loud.
'i'm jungkook's friend! don't say mean words to him, can't you see that it hurts him?' i looked to jungkook who was standing frozen in place, crying and sobbing loudly.
'why would you be his friend? why would he have friends at all?' she came up to me. 'after all you're just one of those pretty girls' she grabbed my hair and started pulling me by it. 'what the hell?!' i yelled in pain, trying to move away from her.
i pushed her enough just not to hurt her and she let go of my hair. i grabbed jungkook's hand and ran with him out of the house. his foster mother was yelling at him to come back but we just ran. we ran until her voice became just a memory.
-
me and jungkook were now walking to your apartment. he thanked me repedeatly and asked me if i was okay.
'jungkook, if you ask me one more time if i'm okay, i'm not going to be' i said to him. he just shrugged. i stopped him, taking his hand in mine.
'look, when are you turning 18?' i asked him.
'in 9 months' he answered me. 'but what does that have to do with anything?'
'when you turn 18 you can legally leave your foster parents. i'm turning 18 in two months so i'm going to be able to leave the orphanage. you can move in with me and yoongi and everything will be okay!' i told him, squeezing his hand tightly.
'are you sure sun? what if that isn't possible? what if i can't leave my foster parents? what if they don't let me?' he had too many questions. i sighed, but still smiled at him.
'look jungkookie, everything is going to be fine. after all i think yoongi would love to have you as his company. why not?' he just shrugged again. 'i guess?'
we started walking again, the walk filled with small talk yet nothing awkward. soon enough, we found ourselves in front of your apartment. i sighed, not knowing if you were still mad at me or not. i let go of jungkook's hand and knocked on the wodden door.
knock, knock. nothing. knock, knock. again nothing.
when i was about to knock for the second time, the door opened. my smile fell when i saw that the face who greeted me wasn't you, yet the girl from the cafeteria. gi.
'oh hi! jungkook? oh my gosh i haven't seen you in so long' she smiled warmly at jungkook, but sending weird glares in my directions. i was confused as to why she was here.
'hi' he plainly said.
'is this your girlfriend?' my eyes widened, i looked at jungkook to see the same thing.
'n-no? we're not to-'
'gi, who's at the door?' you yelled from the inside.
'oh your friend and his girlfriend?' she said it more like a question.
