Yandere! Laughing Jack (LJ) x Fem. Reader

Yay another LJ! I really hoped for another LJ tbh since I like LJ :3

Y/n's POV
I love to perform in front of people ever since I was a 3 year old. The type of performances I pull is singing and dancing. It's been a hobby now, almost a habit. I always joined variety of competitions and received trophies, gifts, money, certificates, medals, etc. I'm a very talented girl and my name is heard by people, making a lot of companies want me to work with them. I obviously refused all of them because I love being in touch with my family and friends.

I perform a lot at this theater in a carnival area. What, how, and why? Well this theater is about to be dmolished for the carnival but the owner of the theater pleaded the owner of the carnival to keep it and so he did. Besides the coworkers of the carnival agreed to keep the theater for show performance purposes. I joined it just a few years ago and it has been successful years.

Today a figure of sort joined to the theater. He planned to be a clown and work in the carnival to cheer people up. He was accepted and I was requested to tour him around. His name is Jack, unknown to his last name. He named himself 'Laughing Jack', 'LJ' for short. He was a funny, cheerful guy. He had a very creepy appearance despite the fact he intend to 'cheer' people up (lazy to explain his appearance. Bet y'all already know).

Today is his first day and another practice session for me. I was at the backstage area, rehearsing some dance moves and song lyrics for the practice performance. "Y/n L/n. Practice session starts now." the staff member said through a speaker. I nodded to myself happily and walk cheerfully to the stage accompanied by the manager. "You know there'll be an upcoming night performance, right?" "I'm well aware, sir." "Good. Because this night is the due of my contract. If we can pull off an amazing performance in front of people and the carnival's manager, then we can keep this theater here permanently!" he explained. Hearing that strengthens me, given me the desire to help the manager in any way I can. "I understand, sir. I will try my hardest. Oh, and where is my teacher?" "She can't attend today due to a heavy headache so I will substitute her as of current." he replied. I just lowerred my head a bit the lift it back up. I jump and got my excited, determined face on. "Let's start, sir! So we can keep this place permanently!" I said loudly, full of pride. He chuckled at me. "You really love it being here, do you?" "Of course! This place is like my secondary home, full of my secondary family. I cherish this place so much that it saddens me to know today's the due of the contract." I said with voice changes through the words. He nods and pointed towards the stage with his pen, telling me to stand there. I nod and went up. As I did, I saw LJ and his guide sitting curiously and looking at me. I prepared myself, inhaling and exhaling to make sure I don't shake despite 2 viewers. I begin to perform accordingly to the choreography and the song lyrics. People looked at me with awe in their faces as I gracefully move my body accordingly. I hear and sense people talk about me, even LJ.

I bowed as I finished my performance. Everyone begin to clap in amusement. "Great work as always, L/n. I look forward for the performance tonight. With this, we'll definitely keep this entire building permanently!" the manager said, full of eager and excitement. I giggled and nodded. "Rest now, L/n. We'll practice one more time for ensure and perfection." he exclaimed.

The night...
I dressed up nicely in a dress.

I stood nervously behind the curtains at the backstage. Hands on chest, inhaling and exhaling. Then a shoulder pat came from behind me. I turn around and saw my best friend Ryuji. He smiled at me. "Nervous I see." "Hush. You know me." I joked, nudging his arm. "Chill, but stay strong up on that bright stage. Don't want to see you melt from the heat of nervousness." he joked and chuckled. I pouted and playfully patted my head. "Can't be here for long. I'll be watching from the seats. Meet ya back here after you finished." he said, waved and left. "Alright!" I waved and smiled. "Y/n?" a familiar voice spoke. I looked and saw LJ holding out a bouquet of rose. "Oh, hi LJ! To whom are those for?" I asked. He begin to blush and looked away. "Y-you... actually..." he mumbled loudly. I gasped then giggled. "Thank you, LJ. But for what?" I said, taking the rose from him. "Y/n! It's time for the performance!" "Ah, right! LJ, thanks for the rose. Gotta go!" I said, placing the rose on my vanity rushingly then went to the stage.
"Now gotta deal with that bastard."

After the performances...
The night went off with a blast. Everything went well and both managers are talking right now. Our manager looked so happy and relieved knowing the building will be kept. "I'm so happy!" "Thanks to you. He said your performance really paid him off." he joked. I giggled excitedly as I waited for Ryuji to come.

...

He has yet to come.
Did he forget? Or maybe he has something else to do? Either way, I changed my clothes and went straight home.
Along my way, I usually went through an alley for shortcuts. But this time I discoverred a familiar body. It was Ryuji's corpse! Then an evil chuckle fill the silence behind me. "I was planning to dispose it, but I knew I could never miss any performances of you alive like this. It's such a big opportunity. You shouldn't have come here, but I guess I was slower." he exclaimed darkly, voice tones changed as he talk. I shiverred and turn around. I saw LJ, but a scarier and non-human looking. "You killed him?!" "I'm not a human, but I didn't expect to love a human such as you. You caught my empty, cold, dark heart and fill it with pure joy and love. Then that Ryuji guy came in my way so I had to kill him. And now we can play together forever~!" he said maniacally, chuckling at the end. He approached me and closed my eyes. I soon fell unconscious.

I gasped and breathed for air as I woke up in a strange, monotonic room. I scan my surroundings and saw a note. I took it and read it.

"Y/n sweetheart,

I love you, but one thing I must do for our love feels like a sacrifice. One must die for a love to born sometimes. Not only that, you've discoverred the body. I can't allow you or anyone to know of it. I left to kill your family and friends, along with disposing the corpse. Oh, your so called 'Secondary Family' will be okay. They'll just have a hazy memory of you. The world will never be the same as before. It's for us, my sweetheart.

I love you~!"

It looked like LJ's handwriting. I froze as I felt like my dreams crashing. I cried and screamed at the top of my lungs...

"Y/N!!" a voice screamed. I woke up gasping for air in a hospital. I scan around and saw my friends and family, safe and sound. No signs of amnesia, injury or illusions. They're perfectly alive.

"Everyone... you're all still alive...?" "What're you talking about? Of course we're all alive!" Jane joked. I sighed in relief and placed my temple on my head.
'It was just a dream...' I thought to myself.

'Or was it~?'

It rang my head and froze my body. I lift my head, panicking. "Where's Ryuji?!" "Dead. Long gone weeks ago." my eyes grew wide in shock. "How long have I been out?" "4 weeks exact." I begin to cry and coverred my face with my palms.

'I'm coming for you, my sweetheart~.'

Wau. Sorry for being lazy and the long chapter. Honestly I have so many ideas for the plot, but I feel like I lack motivation because I didn't feel like writing, due to my lack of inspiration and creativity. Hope y'all enjoyed though.
