Yandere! Nathan the Nobody x Fem. Reader

The first time. I hope it isn't too bad.

Y/n's POV
"I have feelings for you, Y/n!" the sentence that rang through my mind since young. It came from my childhood best friend, Nathan. He was very cool and funny, but caring at the same time. It's a clichèd meeting, but we met at kindergarten when I was bullied. He scared them away, pulling out threats and such. He helped me so much until this point. We became friends soon after. We'd play with eahother often and hangout together. We're almost inseparable.
However, it all changed when he confessed his feelings to me. I was too stunted back then because it was too sudden, and I personally didn't understand why he confessed to me. But then the next day after I now know that he had to leave me. I cried so much because I didn't get to accept his feelings. I felt guilty. I hope he's okay.

Now I just moved to a different town. Not once have I forgotten about those childhood memoried I had with Nathan. I would hope someday we'll cross paths. But that was my biggest regret. I regretted that wish forever.

I moved to a new school with unfamiliar people surrounding me. I was a bit timid but I managed to pull my courage. I walked around to find the principal's office. "Hey. Are you new here?" a voice spoke. I jumped and spun around. I saw a long black haired with a black mask coverring his mouth and nose. Is he sick or something? "Um... Yes." "I'm Nathan. Come and follow me. I'll take you to the principal's office." he said. Nathan? That name begin to ring in my head. Is he... Nathan? My childhood bestfriend? Impossible... But he looked so similiar! It must be him. I'll try and jog his memories. "I'm Y/n, and thanks." I replied. He seemed surprised a bit but calmed down. "Follow me." he ignored. He didn't remember me? I decided to follow him.

Time skip...
A crowd was surrounding a pillar as I exited my classroom. I wonder what's going on...? I saw Nathan so I approached him and poked his back. He turned his head to me. "What's with all this commotion?" "Adhelia Dahlia, the school's most popular girl, held a party at her mansion and everyone is invited." he explained. "She it's her birthday tomorrow she has high expectations. She also wants everyone to wear formal clothes. Of course anyone wouldn't turn down this opportunity, including myself." he added, though not as enthusiastic as he said. I ignored it. "Oh cool. So no one can turn down this offer?" "None." he explained sternly. I flinched a little. I sighed and decided I'd come. "When and where will it be starting?" "Tomorrow at 17:00 PM in the High Manor. Y'know with the large, fancy house anyone can see?" "Oh, yeah. I've seen it before. So it's Adhelia's place?" "Yeah. I hope to see you there." he said. I blushed a little. "Well, same here." I replied, smiling.

Time skip... 17:00
I went inside the mansion. I feel like in a different world. I wore a nice white dress with a rose headband and red shoes. I usually wear this at eventful moments. Now that I'm here, I want to find Nathan. I'd like to jog his memories using this opportunity. I walk around and scan carefully each individuals. I noticed a familiar long black hair leaning against the wall with a black mask coverring his mouth and nose. I rushed to him. Turns out he's really Nathan. "Hey, Nathan!" I said cheerfully with a smile. He jumped slightly like he rememberred something but calms down. "Hey." "Did I startle you? Sorry." "No, it's fine. You just remind me of someone I used to know."

Yeah, and that's me.

"Oh, really? What's their name?" "Oddly, they had a similiar name, Y/n. And you look just like her..." he said.

Because that's me.

I kept fake-smiling despite my heart breaking. "I haven't properly introduce nyself. I'm Nathan Lux."
"You dummy."
He startled again like he rememberred something. I used to call him dummy.
"What?"
"It's me, Y/n L/n. How could you forget about me...?" I said, begin to cry.
"Y/n... L/n... Wait. You're her?? I've been looking for you!" he said. Too late, tears streams down heavily. I ran out to the balcony nearby and looked at the moon shining down upon the city in the clear night sky. My heart felt breaking apart. I heard footsteps behind me and pants. "Wait... Hear me out... Please." "No. I don't want you to make me suffer anymore."
He gets closer and I backed away. It was very dramatic.
"Y/n, I haven't got my answer beforehand. I've been waiting for a while. So what's your response?" he said. He must be referring to his confession in the past. "I..." "Oh, you wouldn't accept me, because I've committed a crime." he said. I froze. "What?" "I'll be honest, I killed my parents and went to find you. Nowadays I followed you and killed those who hurts you or any men who layed eyes on you. Forgive my jealousy." he said, full of calm and gentle tone as he bowed down. I was shocked and stunned of what I'm hearing. I pitied him, he must've felt great loneliness. I approached him and hugged him. He was startled. "I... forgive you. All this time I also had feelings for you." I said, genuinely. His eyes grew wide in shock. But fell into relief and hugged me back. "I'm glad you forgive me."
He was nothing more than a brave, honest gentleman.
