All eyes were on her body like a spotlight as she rose like a Greek goddess from the waters of the beach. Droplets of sparkling water caressed her voluptuous body as she gracefully stalked the sandy beach that left all the guys hot with desire.
I smirked at her when she passed by me wearing a flirtatious smile.
She's hot.
"What's with that wolfish look on your face, dude?" I turned grinning at Gray, my best friend, who was looking disapprovingly at the girl who passed by.
"She was so hot, right, dude? Like a Greek goddess!" I've always liked those types of girls – Girls with hot bodies and beautiful faces. Very delectable!
"Yeah, she's hot but I know someone who's way hotter than her even with thick clothes on." Gray was the kind of man who was always serious. At the age of 25, he was one of the most eligible bachelors in the business circle but he never used his status to play with women, unlike me. Between the two of us, I was the easy going one. A free spirit. I never restrict my self from any great things in life.
"Seriously, man? You're going after nuns now?" I laughed hard when he threw me a disgusted look and then I play punched him. This best friend of mine could never learn to take things lightly. We're total opposites that sometimes, I feel like he's my grandfather rather than my best friend.
"Dude, when will you ever get used to me?" I chuckled at his skeptic look and then smirked at the two girls who were eyeing us as we passed by. Gray didn't even spare them a glance. He just looked straight ahead.
"I don't think I will ever get used to you being like that." I just expelled a sigh at his comment and kept my mouth shut. Just one look at him and you could tell that he's pissed, and I don't even know why.
If boredom could kill, I would be a goner by now.
Gray told me to wait for him in this restaurant while he was in a closed door meeting with some potential investors for their new business. That was the reason why we were in this heavenly resort, though I just really tagged along because I'm bored. And now boredom has started to gnaw at me again. I finally got tired of watching girls flaunt their amazing bodies and I think I was beginning to have sore eyes because of too much exposure.
I've already finished a cup of coffee and was on my second cup when something caught my attention. It was a pair of lovers who were quarreling behind me. It wasn't because I was being nosy, it's just that I was sitting a table away from them that's why I could hear them arguing. And because I'm bored, I nonchalantly listened to them.
It was just a typical argument between lovers. Jealousy - A petty one if it wasn't real but the start of heartbreak if it was. And all this talk of love and relationship reminded me of a certain girl who gave her all when she fell in love. An ordinary girl who made a fool of her self and got left behind in the end.
I always wondered where did that girl went. Maybe she was still crying right now. Pity.
"I hate you! I hope you rot in hell!" I winked at the sound of a slap and at those familiar words. That was an original. It was never phased out. The words of a broken hearted girl.
I scratched my forehead and chuckled at my thoughts. I admit it, I'm being weird again. Blame it on the heat!
I heaved a sigh and stretched my arms out of boredom and then I saw Gray enter the restaurant, so I stood up to call his attention.
"Aya?" My body froze at the sound of that voice on my right. I steeled my self for a second and then turned to look at the guy. He looked ashen while looking at me though his left cheek was still red from his girlfriend's slap a while ago.
