Humans are doomed to die.
They worry. They regret. They grieve. They falter. They are so weak and helpless, and they are all doomed to die. They deserve whatever hardships they are suffering right now for they are foul and vile creatures.
Humans deserve nothing, but misery. Worthless, they are worthless.
"Hey, miss? What are you doing? You shouldn't stay under the rain like that. You'll get sick."
This world is so cold-Dark and cold. It is so cold just like the torrent of ice-cold rain that's drenching my mortal vessel down to the core, or the dark, thick nimbus clouds obscuring any light from view, or the whiplash of the wind unto my face. Yes, numbing darkness has enveloped this world, yet nothing is colder than my heart. Devoid of any emotions, it has nothing, but vast emptiness. Nothing.
"Hey, are you alright, miss? If you want, you can come with me. My place is just nearby. Come on."
Tanned fingers clasping unto pale wrist... What a fascinating sight. Human fingers, human skin, human warmth... Only such creatures have this kind of warmth-enveloping, embracing, nurturing. And they make me ill. They make me sick.
"Here. You can use some of my clothes while yours are still in the dryer. Oh, and you can spend the night here if you want. I heard over the radio that there's a typhoon coming in tonight. It's not safe for someone like you to be out on this kind of night."
Soft eyes, soft smile-Those features, humans have them. They have eyes and smile to convey their feelings and emotions, yet they are the very same things that they use to deceive their own kind for their own selfish reasons. Very convenient! Pretentious, scheming mortals!
Humans are nothing, but leeches! They are weak and helpless, thus they feed on the strength of others. They are greedy and selfish! They think of nothing, but their own salvation without minding the ones that they are stepping on. Humans are monsters!
"You know, if only my daughter is still here, I'm sure that she'd really love to talk you. She's kind of tactless and noisy, but she's a sweetheart. She has something in her that's really charming and you can't help, but love her. If only she's still here."
Tears. He's crying. Tears are useless. It's a sign of weakness-rotting weakness.
"Why? What happened to her?" Just a soft whisper and a meek look is enough. I have learned that a weak appearance will give you an advantage, for sympathy softens human heart. It shows how weak their defenses are. It shows how vulnerable and feeble they really are.
"She got sick and no amount of prayer could heal her." Grief, loneliness, hopelessness, hatred corrupt the heart. They bring out the monster lurking inside who's just waiting for the right nudge to come out.
"But, I knew that what had happened is for her sake. I knew that God has His own reasons for taking away my daughter."
Faith? Kindness? What do they mean? They're nothing, but empty emotions. They are evidences of how fragile humans are. They are poisons to the mind that are eating them inside out, making them believe in fallacious things that would never ever be real. Pathetic!
"Hey, what's your name?"
A name? Creatures like me have no names. Creatures that have been forsaken and obscured from the light don't need a name. We just need a life to feed on and I only need one more. Just one last soul left...
"Oh, maybe you don't want to give me your real name, huh? Then, how about I'll just call you, Angel? It's nice, isn't it? It suits you. Angel."
Angel...
