Hanji's POV
"Lemme go! I want my baby! I want my baby! Levi! Raven!" I cried out, feeling my throat getting scarred and dried by my yelling. People in white held me in a straitjacket, and tried to escort me to an isolated room. It's only been a day since I lost my lover and baby... and I wanted them. I wanted my family... and I wouldn't care on who I had to kill.
They locked me a padded room with small window slots at the very top of the room. Sadly, I was too short to even reach it. I fell to the floor, crying into pieces. Levi... Raven... I lost them both. I... I loved them too much.
"So... you have it too?" An older woman's voice called out, echoing inside my room.
"W-What do you mean?"
"The disease..."
"What disease?"
She chuckles softly. "The killer one. Everyone in this ward has this disease... they're calling it Killer Y. Everyone here has given birth to a child... and if their child tested positive for it, they take them in and test on them too. Funny... they call it Killer Y when it's really in women. They should call it Killer X for females." The woman chuckled. "I heard you crying... Levi and Raven? Who are they?"
Tears began to fall as I remembered Levi's warm touch and the love he gave to me. "Levi... he was... my lover. Raven's my daughter... but that damn officer took her away from me!" I growled softly.
"I understand that, young one. What's your name? I'm Helena."
"Hanji... and what do you mean that you understand? Did you have your child taken away from you?"
Helena was silent for awhile before she answered. "Yes... yes, my daughter was taken away from me. Not even a year after I gave birth, I was taken in... and they took my daughter away to a foster place. As I heard, she got adopted by the Zoe's and well... my lover betrayed me."
"Z-Zoe's?" I asked. "Was the woman who adopted the girl... wasn't her name Kaylee Zoe?"
"I-I'm not really sure... but it has to be similar..."
"My full name is Hanji Zoe..."
Helena gasps, and I heard shuffling. "Could you be... my daughter?"
"I... I don't know..." I say, feeling tears drip. "I... I don't know who I even am. All I know that I was a monster... but my lover didn't care. He loved me... he would've protected me. He cared... Levi!" I began to break and pushed my body against the door. "Lemme out! Lemme out! Now!"
Levi said it before... I'm not a monster... I'm not a monster...
