--Tyler's POV--

“Tyler!” I heard two british voices call at the same time outside the door. Troye was still on top of me. I felt eyes from the window.

“Ooo lah lah.” A tall, brown-haired, 25-year-old british man said.

“Daaaan. Don’t be rude.” A tall, black-haired, 29-year-old british man said.

    “Oh, shut up Phil.”

Troye scrambled to get off of me and I fixed myself and stood up to open the door. Troye flopped back down on the couch.

“Heyyy guys.” I said as I pulled open the door. “Oops, I guess.” I made an awkward laugh, then turned to glare at Troye; mouthing ‘I told you so.’ He just rolled his eyes and shrugged.

“Sooo. This should be a pretty good party once people start showing up. Any alcohol for the little man though?” He nodded to Troye.

“Okay seriously?” Troye replied, breaking his train of silence. “I’m twenty-one. It’s not like it’s illegal for me to drink. And also… little man? Why?”

“Because I’m four years older than you and seven inches taller than you. I’m obligated to call you ‘little man’, thank you.”

“...Well no, Troye won’t be drinking.”

“But baaaabe!” Troye whined. I turned to him, as Phil shut the door behind them.

“I’m sorry, but you’re taking too much medication and you’re still too sick on a regular basis to drink.”

I heard another knock on the door and turned around. Phil opened the door for me. It was Sawyer and Joey!

“Hi Tyler!” Joey exclaimed, walking over and bringing me into a hug.

“Oh. Haha; hi Joey!” I smiled. When he let go he walked over and leaned down to give Troye a hug. I heard them saying hellos behind me.

Sawyer then took his turn and hugged me. “How’s Troye been doing recently?”

“Pretty good. I mean, it’s of course been on and off for months now, some days extremely worse than other bad ones… but today is a good day for him at least. That’s why we’re able to have this party.” Sawyer parted from me.

“That’s good to here.” He acknowledged Dan and Phil and walked over and Joey was chatting with Troye and everyone was hugging and I felt happy. I walked over to Dan and Phil and brought them both by their waist into one hug with me, I was so much shorter than them. I chuckled.

    “Hey bud.” Phil smiled.

“What’s going on?” Dan asked.

“Oh,” I took a step back and looked at them. “I don’t want to interrupt your conversation,” I looked at Sawyer and he looked back, “But I just wanted to ask if you two have… ya know…”

Troye jumped into the conversation out of nowhere. “Oh come on you guys! You’ve been living together for four years and you haven’t been,” he did air quotes, “‘dating anyone’ for this whole time. Spill it already!”

“Hey. You guys were secretly making out for months and kept saying you were just ‘best friends’. This isn’t fair.”

“Hello?” I interjected. “We were just best friends. We were not ‘making out for months’ either! Maybe we did once or twice over the course of like seven months when we were drunk, but--”
