I looked up to see tears flowing down his cheeks. Sitting up straight, I wiped them away with my hand. ❛I didn't know we had so much in common, Jungkook.❜
He turned to me and that's when I realized ── our faces were only inches apart.

"I'll tell you the truth untold.''
He said, his voice full of determination. Instinctively, I touched his hand. He took a deep breath.
"It's you." He stated, and I thought my heart stopped for a moment.
"The answer to those two questions is you, Yerin." He said slowly. "I have feelings for you from day one."
He held my hand too, and said, "On the night of the party, I understood why I couldn't concentrate on work when you were around. Why I couldn't stop thinking about you. Why it hurt me when I saw you smile at Taehyung, and not at me."
I wanted to say so many things, but the words just wouldn't come out.
"When I said I wanted to settle down with someone I truly loved, I meant you." He confessed. "It made me mad to see you with Taehyung at the party, so I ended up with Hyeri, to heal my fresh wound, and if possible, make you jealous."
"Y-you succeeded." I blabbered out.
He chuckled, and that sound seemed like music to my ears. "I broke up with Hyeri because she wasn't that someone; you were."
Both of us stared at each other after that in silence, and finally, the silence was comfortable. "What do you mean I succeeded?"He asked teasingly all of a sudden, and a blush crept up my cheeks.
"Isn't it obvious?" I said. "I..." I trailed off, suddenly feeling a lot of hesitation.
His hand left mine, and rested on my right cheek, encouragingly. "I have feelings for you, too." I plucked up the courage and confessed. A very happy smile made its way to his lips.
"It was all clear to me when I asked myself why I hated seeing you with other women, or why I cried for hours when you had that accident." I said, and suddenly felt something wet rolling down my cheek, onto his hand.
He wiped my solitary tear away.
I continued, "I can't deny that I felt something coming from you since my birthday but I feared it was just because I was the sister of your brother's best friend. I feared you'd leave me, too."
"I won't leave you and I won't let you cry anymore, either. I want you to smile always, and I want that to happen because of me."
I gave him a very small smile, and he asked, "Speaking of Seokjin Hyung, won't he return tonight?"
