Bonus Chapter

"Are you sure you can take care of Hyejin?" Jimin asked, anxiousness evident in his voice.

"Of course we can, hyung. You know she likes our company, and we love babies, too." Taehyung replied with a grin. "Besides, you two haven't gone on a date in ages."

"Don't worry, we'll take good care of her." Taehyung turned around to see his fiance walking towards them. "Go and enjoy your time together."

"Well, I trust you guys." Minji replied, intertwining her hand with Jimin's. They gave the other couple one last smile before walking towards the car.

Taehyung closed the door. "Is Hyejin sleeping?" He asked. "I wanna see her."

They both went to the baby's room, where she slept peacefully. Taehyung felt his heart warm up at the sight.

"Let's not disturb her, and go sit in the living room, shall we?" He asked. "We can keep a watch on her through the baby monitor."

They plopped down on the couch in the living room, and Taehyung found himself staring at the beautiful lady beside him.

"What are you looking at?" She asked him curiously.

"You." He replied. "Remember the first day we treated each other with pure intentions?"

Her eyebrows scrunched a bit, indicating that she was trying to remember something. "You mean the day Jungkook broke up with me?" She finally asked.

"Yeah." Taehyung gave her his boxy grin. "Who knew all you needed was just a little bit of love?" Taehyung asked rhetorically, recalling the day at the rooftop of the office.

Hyeri threw herself on me and sobbed. "H-he broke up with me." She stuttered.

Somehow, that made me want to cry with her. I was always said to be the "too-kind-for-my-own-good" guy.

"Stay with her." Yerin whispered, and walked away towards the elevator.

"Shh.." I tried to calm her down by patting gently on her back. She kept sobbing until her eyes were swollen, and when she was finally in the position to say anything, I asked, "Are you okay?"

"No, Taehyung-ssi. I'm far from okay." She stated the obvious, and I suddenly felt a bit stupid even asking her. "It's just 'Taehyung', and I'm here if you want to talk."

"What did I do wrong, Taehyung?" She asked, and tears started to well up in her eyes again. "I loved him with all my heart."

"Sometimes, it's just not meant to be." I said, being able to relate with her.

"At first they treat me like I'm this fragile little princess, and when they're done, they toss me away." She wiped her tears sloppily. "You must have thought why I'm such an attention-seeking whore, right?"

She didn't give me time to answer, and continued,"Because every guy I date just uses me." I touched her wet cheek softly.

''You may think Jungkook's one of those guys, but love works in mysterious ways, Hyeri." I said. "I know it hurts, but you can't just sit here and cry. Maybe someone better is waiting for you out there."

"You were that better person waiting for me," said Hyeri.

"I still wonder how I ended up with Lee Hyeri, the girl with the attitude."

"We can still cancel the wedding, if you want." Hyeri said smugly.

"Jimin hyung and Minji have a one year old daughter, Yerin and Jungkook are currently on a trip to celebrate their second marriage anniversary." Taehyung said quickly. "No, thanks. I'd rather marry you."

Hyeri giggled at his answer but stopped when she saw the baby monitor. "She's awake." She ran towards Hyejin's room.

Taehyung entered the room to find her singing a lullaby to the baby in her lap. He could tell by Hyejin's looks that she still needed some sleep, and would fall asleep again, soon.

And so she did. After about ten minutes.

Taehyung and Hyeri watched the baby sleep on her bed, free of all worries, not a care in the world.

"I'd love to do this with you. Everyday." Taehyung suddenly said, causing her to look at him inquisitively.

"We don't get married till another month, Taehyung."

"So what?" He smirked. "You know, Hyejin's sleeping, and the house is totally empty right now."

"Oh, yeah?" She didn't hesitate to smirk back. "Catch me if you can." She dashed outside the room as fast as she could without waking up the sleeping child.

Taehyung smiled, and immediately started chasing her, like he always would, no matter where she ran off to.
