I felt chills brush my entire body like electricity. I was floating; flying through mid-air.
"Peyton?”
My eyes was screaming at me to stay closed. They were so heavy, too heavy to keep open, I simply couldn’t do it. My entire body was glass, it was ice, and it was breaking.
Why was it so bright?
“Peyton! Peyton can you hear me?”
Voices – they were everywhere. They wrapped around my brain and twisted inside my head. I felt a cloud begin to form inside my chest, overtaking my lungs.
“Peyton, listen, can you hear me? Peyton!”
I was weightless.
“God dammit, Peyton, wake up!”
Blackness.
