Chapter 34

Sting's pov

I walked down the sidewalk. I needed to clear my head......I opened the door to a bar, and walked in.

"Ah! Sting! Welcome back!"

A women with long black hair and brown eyes, was standing behind the counter bar, drying some glass cups.

"Hey Victoria," I answered her, sitting on one of the high step stools.

Victoria handed me a glass. In the glass was a pink fluid.

"Strawberry soda, your favorite."

"Thanks Victoria," I said, drinking the flavored soda.

She leaned on the counter.

"So.....How's Ashly?"

I stopped drinking. I gently set the glass down.

"She's engaged," I muttered.

"What?!"

I stared down at the counter.

"You still love her though right?"

I nodded.

"Then it's fine!"

I looked up at Victoria confused.

"What do you mean it's alright?"

"If you still love her, you would let her get married."

I frowned.

"That's wonderful advice."

She sighed.

"I'm sorry Sting......But you have to cheer up. I'm not use to seeing you like this."

I stared back down at the counter.

"Um......Excuse me?"

I looked to the side to se a girl with white hair, and brown eyes. Victoria looked at her.

"Can you please tell me where the Sabertooth guild is?"

I suddenly realized who the girl was. Yukino Aguria. She's going to be in the tournament......But where's her guild mark?

"I can take you," I suddenly said, without thinking.

She looked at me and her eyes winded.

"S-Sting Eucliffe!"

She bowed.

"M-my name is Yukino Aguria."

I laughed and patted her head.

"You don't need to do that!"

Behind the counter, I saw Victoria smile. Yukino looked up at me.

"You're looking for the guild right? I'll take you there."

"R-Really?!"

I nodded. She bowed once more.

"Thank you!"

"You don't need to thank me! Come on!" 

I grabbed her hand. I saw her face turn red. I laughed and dragged her over to the door/

"The drink's on the house Sting!"

I looked over my shoulder and looked at Victoria.

"Thanks Mom!"
